My mentor from undergrad became the Dean of Students at Wisconsin-Madison for a few years, maybe about a decade ago. One of her major complaints about living there was the lack of diversity... ethnic diversity.
I don't watch Cable News. This bit was totally stupid and really uninteresting. The most uninteresting thing about it is Madison, Wisconsin is not that interesting. As a matter of fact it is really boring, and as a result everyone I know has left for the Big Cities and Bright Lights. These so called Madison citizens are likely from horrible hamlets in Wisconsin like Ladysmith and Oconto Falls and as a result thing Madison is da bomb.
Now I know why I don't watch this crap.
Now when I am older and not attractive to hot exotic hog (which you will never find in Madison, diverse? bullshit) I may return. But I will be living on my father's farm in Lodi or his cottage on Lake Delton, which is now blue.
The most interesting people from Madison Wisconsin are likely the ones that left Madison Wisconsin.
This includes Atlhouse's sons.
I have met some of the most interesting people from Madison and surrounding areas that now live in Boston.
Today, I met with a hiring manager from Monroe, who received her BA, MA and Phd in Economics, from UW. And one of the first thing she told me is she wanted to "get out" and experience the world.
She still comes back for the every other year Cheese Fest in Monroe this year.
'LaFolette, the 'progressive,' we are here' is the icon of Madison. The 'we' are strivers for some new world. To be in the 'we,' you accept without humor the 'forward' attitude in others. Somebody who has a nice tie and is getting satisfaction in the old, imperfect as it is, like O'Reilly, OMG.
From looking at the video, I suspect I understand how the exit polling can be skewed by interview choices. There was a preponderance of cute, young interviewees.
So I don't think the results were statistically valid. Judging by the Althouse/Meade videos, Madison doesn't look quite like that!

She was comparing it to Louisiana and Maryland.
I dislike O'Reilly but this bit was funny.
Actually, of all the places Watters visited for this series of reports, Madison comes out the best, I think.
Less overt nastiness & fewer people looking like they fell off a garbage truck.
And, as our dear Titus would say: "Tits!"
Is technically the new in word?
Lotta beautiful blondes in Madison. So why the unhappiness?
I've met some people just that clueless. It must be a college town thing.
Yes, as I noted earlier, I was surprised how many well-endowed women are in Madison.
Explains the fondness for all things lactose.
Very good stuff. I liked the guy who wants to find the Loch Ness Monster. Maybe it hides in Lake Mendota over the summer.
A paranoid mind is a terrble thing to waste, so support the Madison White Guys College Fund.

It's great to visit but even better to depart.

Or you, about 40 years ago? :-)
But not Titus material. At all.
It does sound like Titus can't get laid in Madison, doesn't it?
And finally the people in Madison and Wisconsin are so nice.
If some reporter did that here no one would stop and they would say fuck you get out of my way.
wow these guys always come up with something crazy..sound system equipment

All the cute women were conservative. All the unhappy men were liberal. Just saying.

Yes. The ladies interviewed seemed to display impressive boobage. Kudos Madison.

No. They're all over. They, as a block, vote democrat.

Once you've left and come back, you realize college towns are only interesting to 18 - 20 year olds.
Beat me to it.
This needs a "breasts" tag.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
The women of Madison seem to be far superior to the men.
Maybe I need to visit Madison!
:-)

I love the Jesse Watters bits. I knew I would not see Ann and Meade tho--Watters goes for the crazy or dumb.
Watters also goes for the sanctimonious.
