If Michael Jackson had himself listed as the father on the birth certificates, does the DNA matter? From a distance it seems like MJ's siblings want the money all to themselves, and to Hell with the kids.
Well, I'm rooting for the children. I don't believe MJ was the biological father, but I also believe that was his choice. (I'm sure he had that much understanding of biology.)
This whole thing is just so wrong, though. I continue to remain impressed with Paris Jackson, though. You think her tweets are angry? You should see the emails I did send to my sister after our mother died and my sister and BiL started trying to screw me out of the estate. (The ones sent to me accusing me of all manner of crimes while simultaneously trying to get me to commit perjury, fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud were pretty good too.) The amount of bullshit that goes on in estate battles is rather high even for small estates. I can't imagine what the stakes are like with $500,000,000+ on the line. It's the big plus to being an only child descended from only children.
His estate has grown to nearly 8 billion last I heard. No wonder there is drama since he didn't include many of them in the will. With that kind of money at stake stuff like this is going to happen. I suspect Paris is going to be the backbone of her family. I like her from what I've seen. Seems she has some grit and fire and is very protective.
If there was a will, and Michael Jackson gave all of his money to that chimp that he had, that doesn't mean that Paris has DNA that matches any of the Jackson family. That fact that Michael didn't die intestate is beside the point.
Michael Jackson's "whiteness" was a bleach job. How could all his children be totally white? Of course, whether they were biologically Michael's is irrelevant, he wanted them to have all his fortunes.
It's amazing how much squalor a half billion dollars can generate. The domestic politics seem truly Byzantine. I wonder who will end up in rehab first: Paris or Suri. Well, neither one will die broke.
She looks like a normal 14 year old. It seems that some of you have not been around middle schoolers lately. When I was still teaching, I had sixth graders (11-12 year olds) who looked like this.
"If there was a will, and Michael Jackson gave all of his money to that chimp that he had, that doesn't mean that Paris has DNA that matches any of the Jackson family. That fact that Michael didn't die intestate is beside the point."
No, it is the point, because the dispute is over the fortune. He left it all to those 3 children, named individuals, not "to my offspring" or some such denotation. It doesn't matter who their biological parents are -- unless the will is invalidated, which is what various Jacksons are trying to do. Presumably, they'd like to invalidate the will and also exclude the children as not Michael's. That's an ugly business!
I'm rooting for Paris. And I don't care who her "real" parents are. She lost the man who was a father to her, and she's got to fight off the clan. It's frightening, and I hope she gets a chance to be young again.
If the Jackson's are trying to invalidate the will, and if they are successful, then it's all about the DNA. I've got news for you, excluding or not giving each offspring an equal share is ugly business and happens more often than you realize.
Had Michael given his money to Bubbles the chimp, would you expect the Jackson clan to say "ok, no problem"?
My point, whether you agree or not, is that Michael Jackson is not the biological father.
How about the so-called mother, did she get anything out of this?
She doesn't look remotely 40. Looks like a teenager. Which she is. What non-teenage thing did she do in those tweets? Her biggest misfortune is being related to a family of wackos.
Legally, they were his kids, right? Isn't that all that matters? And he specifically left his estate to them by name? Wonder which genius decided to bury Jackson in the gold coffin, and who's money was used for that.
I've got news for you, excluding or not giving each offspring an equal share is ugly business and happens more often than you realize.
It's not "offspring" that are contesting the will-- Jackson left pretty much all his fortune to his heirs, his legal children-- but Michael's siblings. Fighting over an estate, a fortune, that Michael Jackson earned-- not his parents or his siblings.
Are you saying Michael Jackson "didn't build it"-- but his father Joe did, and therefore all the other Jacksons deserve their due share?
It doesn't matter if the children are offspring or total strangers. The heirs are whoever Michael Jackson named. (And I'll bet there is a clause in the will specifically disinheriting everyone else.)
Oh Bullshit. The heirs will be whoever some judge decides who the heirs are. Joan Crawford specifically left two of her adopted children zero in her will. That was overturned by a judge.
BTW I would second AllenS for a DNA test targetting Nurse Debbie Rowe. I'd like to know who she snatched those children from.
Thank you, ampersand. It wasn't that long ago I posted an email from one of my newly discovered cousins through Family Tree, which is an outfit that does DNA testing. My newly discovered 5th or 6th cousin was adopted and was just learning about who he really is. Those children are not the offspring of Michael Jackson, and I have no idea where they came from.
I heard Paris interviewed some place a couple onths back for a few minutes.
I was actually surprised.
The whole Michael Jackson thing was so bizarro, and I just saw him as a tortured screwed up guy. But I was impressed with how -- hard to fathom -- how normal she sounded.
She seemed neither giddy nor self absorbed.
As for this $ thing -- MJ's siblings are despicable.
And the kids' grandma is the only grandma they know. She's their grandma.
Pogo said "The chair is not my son." Wow! I don't remember you being my college roommate! That was a small, little-told joke back then. Well, maybe I underestimate how well even old jokes travel in the Internet age.

I'm more interested in the DNA of everyone involved.

The will is mine..
Mine Mine..
Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney
She got her mother's looks, apparently.
Luckily for her.
I'm thinking another reality series to compete with the Kardashians.
Untermenschen mitt gelt.

Probably b/c AllenS isn't a Lamarckist.

She doesn't look 40 at all to me. Maybe 20.
The chair is not my son.
From shirtsleeves to shlimazel in 3 generations.

Bubbles was the name of the chimp.
She looks like the "victim" of too much air travel as a child.
Definitely jail bait material.
Just for the record: Michael Jackson was born a black male. He died looking like a white female.
But I wonder, can she dance?

I can see the Jackson family looking at each other and saying: "WTF? Who are these white people?"
Kinda like the Cherokees looking at Elizabeth Warren and saying: "Who is this cracker-ass white interloper?"

Yeah, I'm kind of wondering how long it will be before someone gets called a Honky.

This is a good reason to die without money. Money makes people crazy. Family members are separating children from their guardian to try to get at it.

There is something about her that looks like she's from the 1970s though - and that makes her look relatively older.
