Obama on abortion: "And the reason I support abortion rights is because I thought about Malia and Sasha, and I don't want them attacked or called horrible names because they're being good citizens. But I did want Michelle to have the option to have someone jam a pair of scissors into their skulls while they were in the birth canal."
I find it really odd that fans of abortion can't say the word. What's wrong with the word "abortion," Andy? Why do you shy away from it?
One might ask the same thing of the people who are writing our abortion rules for us. Justice Ginsburg, in her Carhart dissent, writes this:
the (majority) opinion refers to obstetrician-gynecologists and surgeons who perform abortions not by the titles of their medical specialties, but by the pejorative label “abortion doctor.”
It's just odd to complain about calling an abortion doctor an "abortion doctor." After all, that's how they advertise in the yellow pages, right there under “abortion.”
Why does she think “abortion doctor” is an insult?
Note that Dr. Carhart is not licensed in any hospital. The only medical procedure he knows how to do is abortion. He's an abortion doctor. That's what he does. That's all he does. It's his whole practice.
Our society segregates the happy moms from the aborting moms. You think they're in the same waiting room? You think the baby doctors and the abortionists are the same people?
Of course feminists often argue that they are fighting for choice, not for abortion per se. But how does hiding from the reality of abortion--indeed, an apparent fear of using the word itself--help us understand how abortion is a right?
Perhaps Justice Ginsburg should skip the euphemisms and explain why “abortion doctor” is so bad that no obstetrician would want to be called one.
But, because of republican mistakes, Obama will get his 50+% when election day rolls around.
Just like Jimmy Carter would have won re-election back in 1980. Except that Ronald Reagan emerged as a candidate in spite of the Bush Family. And, the Rockefeller's.
"You do realize that the autopsy confirmed the fact that Terri Schiavo was indeed in a persistent vegetative state, don't you?"
And do you realize that her parents were more than willing to shoulder the costs of her hospitalization - nearly begging her 'husband' on their knees to let them take over, don't you?
But no. Moloch, the guiding spirit of the Democrat party, must be fed.

No, moron, that's the guy who tried to save babies and other people whose rights were truly trampled on, like Terri Schiavo.

No, Randall Terry did not try to execute extra-legal justice on some infanticides.
Mischaracterization cuts both ways.
Judging by the Randall Terry's followers, I'm not so sure losing isn't the best outcome. Or safest.
So now who gets the front runner status in the Dem race?
The left of the podium totus has done more of the speaking lately. And leftists stick together.
Obama is wildly popular!
So, Democrats now advocate murdering abortion doctors.
Congrats, guys.

No.

like Terri Schiavo.

There's a Democrat primary?
The Orwellian rhetoric in regard to abortion is truly frightening.
"It's my body, it's my choice."
There is no father in this rhetoric. No father, and no baby.
Read the Supreme Court's work. They never mention the father, except in one case, where they say he has no rights whatsoever.
And, of course, there is no baby. Legally, baby doesn't exist.
So we have a pregnancy without a father, and without a baby.
