"The White House is girding for a political loss in the heart of New York on Tuesday."

"They’re also spinning up an explanation that won’t entirely result in the blame landing on the low popularity of the president. As in Massachusetts, where Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley was faulted by the White House and many others for tone-deaf campaigning, Democratic candidate Dave Weprin may see the undercarriage of that new White House campaign bus."

I bet the Dem will win.

3-to-1 registered Dems to Repubs in that district. Stunning.

It would be awesome if the R won. Go team!

This is a GOOD LOSS! This is Chuckie Schumer's home court! Weprin was one of those "insiders" ... who, instead of finding a replacement for Anthony Weiner, decided to jump in, himself.

It's a great message to Obama about how he favors the saud's. And, he pushes Israel for no apparent reason. It's the arabs who are failing! Their hatred towards Israel is visceral. And, the last thing Obama needs is a visceral dislike of people who are normally democrats.

However, it needs pointing out. Jewish moms don't name their kids "Anthony."

Anthony Weiner's mom is NOT Jewish at all. And, then, Anthony Weiner marries a Muslem woman. And, then he sends naked pictures of his putz around the Internet, just at the point his wife is telling him she's pregnant with their first child.

You're surprised that a wound devloped in this most Jewish of communities? REALLY?

The seat, by the way, is up for grabs again in a little over a year. When we have our November 2012 election.

Who knows what motivated Obama to help Bibi Netanyahu extract 6 security officers from the Embassy in Cairo? (The Israelis actually extracted close to 90 people. But this was the eye of the storm. And, the extraction took cooperation between the White House, and Israel. Now, everything fell silent.)

Otherwise? Why would Obama want to look like Jimmy Carter when he got stuck for 444 days ... unable to extract American hostages from Iran?

Since Israel extract more than 8 people ... a lot was going on that wasn't on television. Because women, children, and staff were disbursed in homes around the city. They weren't in the embassy.

The Egyptians thought they'd get away with the destruction of the Israeli Embassy. They probably thought there are enough antisemitism in America, they'd make a field day plan on 9/11.

Obama is mostly a narcissist. That's why this situation played out the way it did. While in Israel Bibi Netanyahu is very popular.

You think Ergodan is popular? Turkey's economy is on the skids, due to escalating debt. On par with Spain and Greece right now.

Turner's ahead by 6 in a district that's been Demo since the Alamo fell.

They must be sweating bullets.

Even an Al Franken win would count as a loss.

"Gird your loins," as a great man once said.

It's November 2010 all over again.

I think undecideds in the PPP poll were at 7%, and they usually flip for incumbents.

If Welprin loses, Democrats will will indeed put a yarmulka under the bus.

Polling lurched in Turner’s direction late August when Weprin, in an interview with the New York Daily News editorial board, underestimated the size of the national debt by $10 trillion...

Holy crap!

...suggesting he was ignorant about the main issue of the day.

You think?

Let's not count chickens, etc. I know that Turner leads in the polls, but they probably didn't poll the graveyards, where Dems tend to be overrepresented. If Turner should pull out the victory, though, I will definitely smile and enjoy the sounds of liberal heads exploding, in a schadenfreudic kind of way.

'Tone-deaf campaigning'?

Go look at Obama and his tone deafness.

2012 can't come to soon.

Anthony Weiner passed himself off as a Jewish fella. But isn't one!

His mother names him Anthony because she isn't Jewish.

And, then Anthony goes and marries a muslem. Since Huma is MUSLIM. And, the baby she's carrying isn't Jewish.

The "other" problem is that Welprin is an INSIDER. He decides this seat will be so easy to win ... he doesn't have to go looking for a candidate. And, instead, becomes one.

In November 2012 this seat will be up for grabs, again. The House already belongs to the Republicans. And, Boehner remains in charge of the House.

That Obama is not particularly liked by American Jews ... you're just discovering America?

Well, the Republican won. This doesn't look good for obama. I can think of no other reason why the Democrat didn't win this district.
