Obama locked out of the White House.
Talk about photo ops. This is another occasion for my "Obama is like Bush" tag. Remember....
But Bush wasn't at his own house, and of course, Bush was endlessly derided for looking like an idiot.

Bush had the brains to fly a jet, but being a President takes a different set of mental and personality skills he was deficient in.

Other friends got story from LBJ about Gerry playing too many football games without a helmet - leading to Gerrys inability to talk and fart at the same time.
The problems are not really with Presidential intelligence, even bad ones like Carter, George Bush, and Obama. The President is just one agency of one level of government that cannot fix society on its own. We as an American democracy are slowly failing. We are corrupt, democracy is threatened by people who lack the goodies by now possess the means (the vote) and the method (coercive powers of the State and the lawyers) to take away the goodies of others.

Since the early '70s I've been a liberal independent and had never donated to a political campaign until Obama's presidential run. So much for activism.
