Notice that it's mostly blackbirds? The smartest of them all, too. Maybe they know something...

Didn't that movie 2012 start off with stuff like this?

Saw a local new report here and the expert said it could have been a truck. The type of bird that was killed in Sweden normally fly in flocks close to the ground and the "kill pattern" was very tight. The flock in Arkansas were a different type of bird that were flying higher, that's why their kill pattern was more widespread.

Apparently it is not that unusual for flocks of birds to perish like this, but it often happens in isolated areas and predators get to the birds before they are noticed.

Remember when the sharks were all going crazy and attacking us at every turn in 2001? Well that's what it seemed like as "the news" reported every swipe, bite and run in with a shark.

As soon as I heard about the bird crash, I thought, oh, here we go. No there will be 10 stories a day about birds crashing in other cities/states followed by the conspiracies (HARP, the Happening type suicides?).

Reports about the crop circles, the mutilations, the abductions, can't be far behind.

Meanwhile, in the American heartland, sober Midwesterners are seeing mourning doves the size of chickens.

I think it's Ming the Merciless. He missed Flash Gordon's plane and knocked out the little birdies instead.

Could some force be overpowering these small dinosoars like what ever overpowered the larger dinosoars once upon a time?
