The spin over the last couple of days is "this is not a pro-GOP election, it's anti-Democrat". There is some truth to that, but it's pretty pathetic if that's your best attempt at deflection. Tingles himself is bitching now about elitism. Would have been nice if he would have noticed that, oh, about two years ago. It wasn't hard to miss.
I'll try to do supershort clips. It's harder to resist than to watch, right?
I love the way Mickey got his point out clearly, with Bob interrupting all over the place. The interrupting didn't disrupt Mickey or keep us from hearing him. It was more like a crazy embellishment, like counterpoint in music or the drawings on an illuminated manuscript.
With so many of these bloggingheads, they either wait each other out boringly so they don't interrupt, or they get distracted by the interruptions and start sniping back at the interrupter in a confusing or petulant way, which is irritating. When I'm on, I often use the lawyer's technique (used by lawyers when talking with judges) of stopping instantly when the other person interrupts. I don't use that all the time, but when I'm on with someone who doesn't use it back, people see me as the evil interrupter. I like to blogheads with someone who does overtalking well, like Bob and Mickey.

There. I did it. Thanks. Geez.
But Crack. Mickey drowned Wright out and it was only nine seconds. Wasn't that bad. And Mickey's line is pretty good.
