HDHouse, for once a decent comment...I'd say she has a graduate assistant take the more challenging ones for her, that of Meade.

How you keep from hurting yourself taking these photos perhaps?--- but I suspect that it is reflections at Fountain Square...just a hunch.

@joe...that is totally unfair. my comments are always decent. I'm hurt by that.

Obviously not badly hurt enough to keep you from posting....next time, try reading a comment whilst standing in traffic...that should do the trick.

I was thinking stair case, but I don't hink so now...so mayhap it IS a fountain.

I'm puzzling over translating German theology. When he's not making sense is that him just not making any sense or my not being able to make sense of him?

Why does the phrase, "Hanging by her knees over the handrail in the maintenance stairwell", keep coming to mind?

@eductcher...well that is your mind at work (EOM)

Althouse got fall-down drunk in Cincy, fell down, and was knocked out on impact with the sidewalk. Coming to, in a haze of painkillers, she insisted that Meade hand her the camera, and those are pics of the emergency room divider curtains.

I used to get lovely mistakes when I had my old Nikon FM.

With digital, it's hard to get the same level of visual serendipity without faking it in Photoshop.

I wonder how she did that.

HDHouse, for once a decent comment.

And then deleted? I'm confused

Its EXIF file says this is a digital photograph taken by Sony DSC W220, 1/4 second shutter, wide open aperture, ISO 160. It captures the light at the top of a Cincinnati building reflected off the side of a second Cincinnati building.

It's a computer program Althouse has...HDHouse makes a good comment and it's deleted...all designed to keep House's consistency stat's up.

Polaroid photographs were the best photographic medium for "happy accidents".

I thought Bissage had the loveliest mistakes.

Is that a pole boat that ran the river before steamboats?

It's one of those tunnels through a mountain (in Colorado) and the camera was moved in the moving car in a way that Meade can't remember.

I was in Wisconsin at the time, so it's none of my doing.

And hdhouse deleted his own comment, whatever it was.
