Andrew Sullivan: Journolist was corrupt collusion.

"[T]his collusion is corruption.... [T]his was an attempt to corral press coverage and skew it to a particular outcome.... I'm glad Journo-list is over. It should never have been begun.... [S]ocialized groupthink is not the answer to what's wrong with the media. It's what's already wrong with the media."

Balance to what? You know full well that due to the popularity of this site it has become a target for the uber-recht bloggers

I thought you decried the use of nazi references in decrying your political rivals hdhouse. Or are you simply immune to any sense of hypocrisy?

As for why Danes are so happy. Not much of a surprise when you set low expectations for happiness.

Oh for crying out loud, I lived in Europe for three years and still get a chuckle hearing people talking about how superior it is to the U.S. What a farce.
Face it, Denmark, Finland, etc. exist only as long as the whims of their more powerful neighbors allow. There's a reason that there's a waiting list of people desperate to leave those countries and come here.

I thought Sully was afraid that the JournoList lefty group-thinkers would lose their precious privacy/virginity if we dare ask what they were talking about?

Lincolntf my comments did not say Europe is superior to America, only that the left, as some claim, is not against a good quality of living. As for all of those desperate to emigrate to America, which is what I thought also, I was surprised. when interviewing a number immigrants in Geneva, to learn that America was not their first choice. As an aside the folks in Scandinavia with their long history would find your claims naive.

Yeah, as if being forced into the least hospitable parts of the Continent wasn't great enough, they've also been overrun and occupied by whoever felt like it for centuries. Skol!
You know what I find naive? Idiots who think coming to America is the solution to their problems when the real solution is passing out photocopies of the US Constitution in every country in Europe and tell them to start living by it. No travel necessary.

The above forty posts demonstrates why thoughtful liberals do not post on Althouse.

There are no thoughtful conservatives to respond to.

I'll take Ms. Sherrod's attitudes over the above any day of the week.

A black man raped a friend of mine once. Should I resent blacks for having raped one of my friends? Or should I reserve my enmity for people who have actually wronged me, and not for every man, woman, and child belonging to the same race as people who wronged me?

Here goes Revenant. Not discerning between what a government sanctioned and what a criminal did outside the law.

It is an easy question for a non-racist to answer. :)

Or just a fool who thinks that government sanctioned crimes aren't more problematic than common crimes.

Heh. Well I do agree there's a lack of thoughtful posts by liberals on Althouse.
