@edutcher: African Americans have contributed so mightily to the culture that I think everyone expects everything they do in the realm of entertainment to be powerful and on point.
Hey. Africn Americans contributed The Hues Corporation. Caucasian Europeans contributed Abba. It's still a big tasty potluck dinner. Can't we all just get along? :)

The Hues Corporation and the song were so cheesy and so bad, I was sure they were white; I told myself black people had more integrity than that.
As it was my first encounter with Disco, I never wanted another.
Something else that saved me from a life of sin and degradation.
