You are a very good photographer Ann. You capture something unique in your pictures. That picture triggered a lot of memories about snow and dusk. Thank you.
It'd be interesting to see that with a little less blue and a little more red. That said, I'm not in the position to criticize anyone else's photography. Why do so many photos on Flickr look good and mine look like junk?
I bet that the best time of the year in Wisconsin must be cold evenings that encourage snuggling and pillow talk into the long winters night listening to Rod Stewart on the Boze.Good night Mr and Mrs Meade.
Today some evil men will drag a sleeping groundhog named Punxsutawney Phil out of his burrow, toss him on the ground, just to see if the sun is shining. It doesn't seem right.

On an unrelated note, would anyone like to help me keep the United Way from encouraging corruption and from helping banks profit from money that was earned illegally? See the link for a new program they're involved in and their contact information. It should just take a few minutes to see the problem and send them a quick note letting them know that you know and you'll be telling your friends.
As a bonus, if anyone knows a way to challenge their chapter's 501(c)3 status over this let me know.

Night time the owls come out.
Speeding owl.
Drag coefficient-you might be getting up to a speed where it's time to lose the skirt!
Nothing says end of day quite like post-Christmas winter or post-4th-of July (hot, humid) summer.
Fred is right, very nicely captured.

You might want to run that one past Meade.

Fading Light yields to First Light.

I was going to link Bonnie Raitt Dimming of the Day, which version on YouTube unfortunately is the best version, but overloaded (goes to 11).
Anyway the piece features a consecutive triple modulation fourthwards.
