"Dylan sneaks in and stares into the masses like it’s a plain white wall. Nelson plays virtually the same songs every night. Dylan changes his playlist every night, and never plays the songs the same way. Nelson radiates warmth and ease, Dylan chilliness and vague discomfort."
Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson together in concert, in Milwaukee.

Texas versus Minnesota. Marijuana versus, well, God only knows what.
Sounds boring.
I hope you won't mind if I'd rather stay in, pop popcorn, put on "Blonde on Blonde," and tickle each other.
Yeah, you with your belt wrapped around your head and me just sitting there in my brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat.
Willie Nelson has such a huge grin because he is a loon. I didn't have much respect for him to begin with, and I lost what modicum I did have when he began spouting Truther nonsense.
Kids, too much pot can rot your brain.
Willie is a truther!??!!?? Oh, well, about the only artist I've never forgiven for his personal life is Rousseau.
"...brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat."
TTIWWOP!
Willie said it in 2008:
"I certainly do," Nelson said Monday when asked by talk show host Alex Jones if he questions the official story.
"I saw those towers fall and I've seen an implosion in Las Vegas, there's too much similarities between the two. And I saw the building fall that didn't get hit by nothing," the singer-songwriter said. "So, how naive are we, you know, what do they think we'll go for?"
Willie Nelson is a good source for dirty jokes that you may not have heard yet.
"Dylan chilliness and vague discomfort"
Wasn't the song "Stage Fright" by The Band about Dylan? He also seemed chilled and vaguely at discomfort when he off-handedly suggested that a small bit of the money intended for Ethiopia be sent to struggling American farmers, an endeavor which ended up with more staying power than Live Aid and which Nelson has certainly supported (bless his Truther heart!).
"And I saw the building fall that didn't get hit by nothing"
Lots of buildings fall that don't get hit by nothing. Happens all the time during earthquakes. Did he ever stop to think how much like an earthquake the collapse of two 100+ storey buildings would seem? Never mind. Truthers never stop and think.
Now that I think about it, I've seen plenty of farms fail that didn't get hit by nothing.
Sounds like neither man has changed in 40 years. Dylan always acted that way when he wasn't stoned.Nelson has always specialized in loving the audience, while Dylan just talks over their heads and leaves them wondering what he meant. Both men have a gift and both have a place in life.

I can't get past Woody Allen's grossness. I don't care if she's not a blood relation. She might as well have been.
"TTIWWOP!"
Let me give you a verbal picture: It balances on my head just like a mattress balances on a bottle of wine.
Memo: Don't forget to close the garage door.
Hi, boyfriendo.
Hi, honey.
Can't wait to jump on it sometime.
I just want to see if it's really the expensive kind!
As someone who was at the concert, I was kind of surprised by the actual review linked to. Bob has always been something of a Rorschach test, but there really was no denying how good his band was in concert Wednesday night. And that seemed to get short shrift in the review.
Not to mention, that I had quite the opposite reaction to the newest arrangement of Stuck Outside of Mobile....
And here I am: Stuck Outside of MobileMe With The System Preferences Blues Again
