The worst thing about being a tomato is never really knowing whether you're a fruit or a vegetable.

So, life may get more dangerous for refinery workers than it already is.
It just means they're going to have to modernize some of these dinosaur plants.

I have a suggestion: All those who thought of vegetation first, and not manufacturing plants, when they read this headline, should think twice before offering their opinions on how GM and Chrysler should run their businesses.

No, they've shamelessly decided to not raise rates for consumers for years. "Modernizing" plants is extremely expensive and in many cases offers highly marginal benefits.
My lesson from this is that congress is once again abrogating its responsibilities. The courts would not have to act if a) congress wrote laws that weren't intentionally ambiguous and b) if the federal government simply got out of many of these issues.
