The most popular TV show among readers of this blog.
Guess what it is? (Based on the Blogads survey, the results of which I'll be able to display next week.) It's not something I blog about. In fact, I don't watch it.

I'll be obvious: Law and Order?
CSI
CSI is a good guess.
The O'Reilly Factor.
Hmm....you don't write about it...Desparate Housewives.
Or, as a second guess: House.
Should I reveal if someone guesses it? Or give more people a chance to guess?
The Simpsons
The Office
My Name is Earl
I'm enjoying the anticipation. But that's just me. I'm glad it's not American Idol.
The Comeback?
What Not to Wear.
The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric?
American Idol comes in a close second. It and the other show are way ahead of everything else.
The news shows are on a separate graph. One stands out by far. You can try to guess it. It's not O'Reilly.
Gilligan's Island
F Troop
I Dream of Jeannie
Am I getting warm?
"American Idol comes in a close second. It and the other show are way ahead of everything else."
O.k., then. It's Danciing with the Star.
“Emeril Live.”
BAM!!!
Gaahhhlic!!!
"Stars" that is.
I am guessing House.
Second guess, Heroes.
Why those? Because I watch them, and I represent the masses.
A more serious guess:
The Sopranos
It's my favorite show: Mythbusters!!!
C'mon, let it be true!
How about another hint.
Spongebob

I suspect the only Althouse readers who watch "The O'Reilly Factor" are you and hdhouse.
My guess is "Survivor".
Remember when you knew the name of every show on TV?
Now there are thousands I never heard of ...Mythbusters.. The Comeback...Emeril Libe....The CBS Evening News With Who?
24. Feel the pauer of Jack Bauer every hauer.
I've got to go with Ruth Anne's guess, 24. The biggest clue, of course, is that Ann doesn't blog about it. Even if it's not correct, Ruth Anne should get extra credit for witty presentation.
For news show, I'd say Special Report with Brit Hume, which is really the only news program worth watching.
Joan is right on the news show.
The regular show has been guessed.
I'll go along with "House."
My second guess would be "The Office," but I think Steve Carell skews a little young for this crowd.
CSI
House maybe.
Wish it was Dresden Files but I know it's not. ;-)
Probably House. Too bad it's not Veronica Mars.
I think House is probably correct, if only by the sheer number of guesses by your readers. If not that, then Deadliest Catch
Too bad it's not Veronica Mars.
Especially since its been canceled.
Whoops. I forgot that you do in fact blog about The Sopranos, which rules that out. I just skip over all the American Idol and Sopranos posts (since I don't watch them), and had forgotten that you watch the latter one.
So I guess it must be Gilligan's Island after all...
Several of you have said it: "House."
Ann didn't you mean HDHOUSE???? oh well.
Frankly I think it has to be West Wing...the one where Sloan is burned at the stake and Fen and Cedarford hurl themselves into the flames with their grief.

^ More dreams of violence from the face of the tolerent left. I suppose we both sobbed a little watching that gesture of defiance against your comrades shown on Frontline this evening, Harry, but for quite different reasons, I suspect. Or perhaps you were too busy salivating at watching the Chinese government do to those who disagree with them what you'd so dearly love to do to those who disagree with you.
Brit Hume gets vilified routinely in generic and broad-brush terms.
I think that dismisses a long history and demonstrates a lack of background knowledge.
Among other things, he's been accused of having no personal experience with regard to at least a couple of things on which people harp all of the time.
FWIW: Accusin' ain't analyzin' ain't knowin'.
Oh, whatever.
that britt hume's name comes up at all speaks oddles about the news (sic!) acumen of this blog. frankly every time he is confronted with facts that seem to demonstrate bush has just stepped on yet another cowchip he has that started deer in headlights look..kinda like gosh to I say something about this or just pretend it didn't happen.
but then thats faux noise's view of the world isn't it.
Whenever I feel afraid
I hold my head erect
And whistle a happy tune
So no one will suspect
I'm Afraid.
While shivering in my shoes
I strike a careless pose
And whistle a happy tune
And no one ever knows I'm afraid.
The result of this deception
Is very strange to tell
For when I fool the people I fear
I fool myself as well!
la di da..la di da

oh i know Simon. But then anyone who uses Omar the Tentmaker in Goth as his avitar is one pretty scary dude so violence doesn't apply to you.
What is that old saying, ...something about Sloan being funeral pyre material but Simon..well you can't hold a match to it???
too funny.

Your not getting the reference(s)--or not being willing to Google--renders your:

at least (at best???), incurious.
hdhouse: Frankly I think it has to be West Wing...the one where Sloan is burned at the stake and Fen and Cedarford hurl themselves into the flames with their grief
Actually, West Wing is one of my favs. Despite all the strawmen plots [like yours mentioned above].
