... for the winter.
Or, like, until the day after Martin Luther King Day. Still, there are lots of things that need to be done. But some key things are very nearly done. And as for today, well, it mostly feels like all the other weeks this semester, because my schedule's been to have my classes only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Anyway, this sign will be on my door in about an hour. It's finally another Bloggingheads.tv day. You'll just have to wait and see who my split-screen-mate is. But feel free to guess. Hint: not a repeat.

Is it with Jonah? :p
From Tonya's photostream: hahahaha, that brings back memories. The guys in the white jumpsuits, I mean.
When I was in college, I was involved in a multimedia performance project, where you had a live band performing in what can only be described as a high-tech wigwam; you had an octagonal tent in the college's atrium, with six projection screens and various stages for the performers, as well as lighting and surround audio, so on and so forth. So shortly before we're due to start performing, the guy running the project comes up with a patented brilliant idea: we'd all go on stage wearing costumes like the band in Tonya's photo, because the white would react to some of the UV lighting elements in the show. We, of course, thought this was preposterous, and borderline humiliating, but we went along, and as it turned out, not only was it wholly preposterous, and entirely humiliating, it didn't even achieve its stated purpose particularly effectively. Mainly I think we just felt like a bunch of musicians who'd gotten lost on the way to install insulation in someone's roof.
Mrs. Wright? Ha! He should book you!
Really though, I'd pay good money to see Greenwald and Althouse reprise Corn vs. York.
Very nice! Being a child of the 70's means I can never hear this song without thinking of the Muppets!
That Jessica Tart?
Andrew Sullivan?
Oooh! I thought there was a rule agains that... or I would've.
