The news from New Zealand:Senior Constable Brent Gray approached the driver's window, saw a foot on the dashboard and noticed the seat was reclined.
Mr Gray told colleagues he thought the man had an "attitude," then noticed the driver had no arms.
The man, who was born without arms, drove by using one foot to steer. He was caught driving 75 in a 60 mile an hour zone.
The driver told police he had never held a driving licence.
Ms Lack said the motorist had been a danger to fellow drivers because he was breaking the limit.
"Obviously, driving at a speed like that, arms or not, you're just waiting for an accident," she said.
"Arms or not" -- I love that. In any case, every time I drive in a 60 mile an hour zone in the U.S., pretty much everybody is going 75 or so. Arms or not.

That's hilarious.
Hilarious as long as no one tries to now make a Monty Python refernce.
Obviously they don't have automated cameras where you drive.
They had a problem with speeding on a section of Loop 101 in Scottsdale. Then they installed cameras designed to detect and photograph speeders, and when 100% of the speeders started getting tickets in the mail, the problem mysteriously stopped, and now everyone there goes the speed limit.
I blogged on this one, too. Especiall since it just happened to appear on the same day as a story about a moutaineer from NZ who lost his legs who was attempting mount Everest.....
Kind of a disarming story, isn't it?
Sorry, I had to. I just had to.
The right to not bare arms....
sorry
Ann, you had to know when you wrote this post that we would enter your comments section armed with all sorts of quips. I can't quite put my finger on why, but your commenters tend to be handy that way.
I don't think most people drive 75 in a 60 mph zone. More like 69, so they can avoid the high fines.
Downtownlad:
LOL. I knew someone who used to say that the goal is to speed 1 m.p.h. below the the fine you wouldn't be willing to pay as the price for getting somewhere faster.
