"The four things that I look for in a wife are character, personality, intelligence and beauty."

"And you have them all," said the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King.

RIP Coretta Scott King.

I wonder if she was lucid enough to hear the announcement that the Smithsonian's African-American history museum will be built on the Mall? There's some meaningful symbolism behind that.

I am happy with three out of four - beauty usually fades with age. Dr. King was lucky to find all four in one woman.

(Of course, I would never tell the woman I was with that she was't the most most beautiful. And I might just believe it too).

What a wonderful thing to say to a woman. I would have married him, too!

She put up with a lot from him -- he was a compulsive womanizer, you know, right up there with Jack Kennedy.

Funny how often the truly great are horndogs.
