I'm not one of those RAAGH GLOBALIZATION BAD people, but I like that they're using songs in their various languages.

Btw, some good Ethiopian jazz in that Bill Murray movie, "Broken Flowers."

Ethiopia has an amazing popular music tradition, in my favorite ethiopian music, the backgrounds sound like memphis soul and the vocals sound like southern indian classical arpeggios.
Very cool.
