JLP... Why? People have been profiting off stupidity since the post Curly/Shemp Three Stooges. "Stupidity" (by both producer and consumer) accounts for a major portion of entertainment media profits in the U.S.

yuck - on every level. yuck to them for profiting from such a sad display, and yuck to the news and entertainment media for perpetuating the non-news. the thing is, it's a market. If people wouldn't watch, and buy, these lame stories would go away. right?
