That's a surprising thing to write in a description of Los Angeles, but Andrew Sullivan does. And it makes sense. Elsewhere in the same post, making a bit less sense, he writes: "A clear victory in this election - but no landslide - has now apparently led [President Bush] to contemplate Clarence Thomas as Supreme Court Justice."
