Gospace said...: A thought came to me with all the covid discussion of late. many anti-vaxx DOCTORS have theorized that the vaxx will result in long term premature death. Starting a few years after the vaxx.

According to most (not all) statistics, 95% of 65+ people had one or more shots. One statistic to show the vaxx was useful in that age group- the unvaxxed were dying faster... which could almost be accounted for by the simple fact that the vaxx was known to have some side effects, and you couldn't give it to severely ill people- who were going to die anyway. Minor quibble.

But anyhow, this then 65 now 71 year old - and his wife - are completely unvaxxed. Along with the rest of the 5% who didn't get vaxxed.

Now a normal death distribution not affected by the vaxx would mean that we are currently part of the 5% of 71 year olds still alive.

But are we?

It would actually be trivial for a massive database to look it up. The healthcare systems know which of us are refuseniks. Are we 5% of the population and lnong term- over 5 years anyhow- the vaxx has no effect on lifespan? Or, are we a measurable 4%- and really should have received this miracle lifesaving shot?

Or, are we 6% (or more) of a similar age population and getting bigger every year? I'm only certain of a few unvaxxed our age. Me, my wife, 2 siblings of hers and a sister-in-law. And they're in much worse physical health then we are. But alive. The few I personally know who've dies in the last few years have been vaxxed. One had Parkinson's, which was his cause of death, nothing to do with the vaxx. Nonetheless, he's vaxxed and dead and such cases should be statistically the same across both the jabbed and unjabbed population.

So why isn't the health establishment keeping track of this? Supposedly, they are, according to a quick google search. But I don't trust any study from overseas. And US data is lacking.

One quote from a study: "Messaging may also note that, in the new study, both age and instances of pre-existing conditions were slightly higher in the vaccinated population than in the unvaccinated population, which may have increased the risk of death in the vaccinated group. This is because people who are at higher risk are also more likely to get vaccinated. "

It is possible to generate hard numbers for the US. From what I can see, this isn't being done. If the real naysayers are correct, in the next few years a death disparity will be obvious.; 8/2/26, 8:20 PM

I know a few vaccinated people who died” isn’t evidence of a delayed vaccine effect. Nearly 95% of older Americans were vaccinated, so statistically almost every older person who dies today will be vaccinated. I think the death rate in the black community explains why areas that were majority Trump also had higher Covid death rates. And I think the death rate in the black community was due to the ill-health of the older blacks who were more likely to have several systemic health issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Systemic health issues + old age are the characteristics of the population that had most Covid deaths. There's group of young men in Morocco trying to emigrate to Europe who regard the effort as an "adventure" they are engaged in. The article is filled with jargon but still something human comes through.
