"Please! I traveled all the way to Wisconsin!... Listen, we traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview"

Wouldn't it have been funny if the all-the-way-to-Wisconsin plea had worked? Oh, yeah, poor you, going to Wisconsin, let me sit back down and yammer on with you, because you endured the ordeal of coming to Wisconsin.

How many times has Trump traveled to Wisconsin in his political career? 40? 60? He's put in the hard work of demonstrating to Wisconsin that we matter, and here's Kristen Welker obviously irked to have had to touch down in a flyover state. I can't believe I came to this hellhole for you!

ADDED: I love the set with the hay bales and tractors. I was hoping Welker and Trump would jump up and do his old "Green Acres" routine:

Take a “journalist” like Welker out of town and off script and she flails around like a beached tuna. She thought she was playing Trump — until he played her.

"I traveled all the way to Wisconsin so I could bitch at you the entire interview and show off for my friends!!"

She claimed no evidence without standing. Ironic.

That’s funny and what I thought when she said it. What a horrible assignment to have to travel all the way to Wisconsin…

Yeah, we flew all the way to this hell hole. LOL. Its a 4 hour flight! And its not like she's doing it for free.

And what's with the tractor and the bales of hay? I guess all you people in Wisconsin are farmers and spend your days plowing the north 40.

I had a job interview where the woman clearly had not looked at my resume or done any pre brief. I asked her why she invited me in and she gave a winded rambling non answer. I told her she wasted my time and I stood up. She tried to force me back in my seat the way this woman did with the power of her voice and her gravitas, where like this woman she had none…

This came after she and Trump talked a long time about foreign policy where Welker was fairly respeectful, because she and her masters want to know what Trump is doing in the Middle East.

Just so people understand, Welker is just "the face" of MTP. The exec producer in David Giles, and the President of NBC is Rebbecaa Blumstein. VP of News is PR - Janelle Rodriquez. These are the people that tell Welker what questions to ask and what attitude to have.

The bleating and whining of a failed network. Sad!

Trump got what he wanted out of the interview. He explained his postion on Israel-Iran-etc. and then showed NBC news to be biased and leftwing when it came to Domestic Policy. All his supporters will applaud that he walked out.

The standard MSM propaganda point is to shout over and over that "There is no evidence of Fraud in the 2020 election". And demand proof. Over and over again. Its also, needless to say, the Democrat Party position. The Press and GOPe, were saying that 1 week after the 2020 election, and they haven't moved off the propaganda point.

Wince said...

The crookedness does not have to be widespread, only within the margin of fraud, currently about 1%.

Achilles said...

Democrats are stupid enough to mouth the lies.

This means they are too stupid to see that they won the battle to defeat Spencer Pratt but they have lost the war on voter fraud.

Quaestor said...

Welker is really down on those J6 animals. How dare Trump propose compensating them? (The fact that Democrats sponsored storming the Wisconsin State Capitol -- how many times, twice, thrice? -- is irrelevant to Welker and her fellow French cheese nibblers.)

There's been massive evidence of fraud in Arz and GA in 2020. Michigan too. People forget that the states sent alternate slate of electors to congress in Jan 2021, but Pence and the Senate R's wanted Biden to be President.

There's a ridiculous book just out on J6, an oral history, where Pence and the Senate R's get to grandstand and pompously intone how they "Saved the Constitution" and voted Biden in despite "the mob". In fact, they were gutless cowards who didn't want to fight, and as I said, actually wanted biden not trump to be POTUS.

Pence couldn't wait to go on MTP last week to attack the IRS Settlement fund, and get applause from the MSM and Democrats. Until R voters smarten up and stop nominating Traitors, nothing will change.

She went with the "I traveled all the way to Wisconsin" because she couldn't say "I prepared all week for this interview."

Her "That's the way they do it in California" was such a weak gambit. They do it that way in California because it makes cheating easier.

Sorry friends, thinking LA residents would vote for a Republican in the year of our Lord 2026 was foolish.

The only trickery here was the depicting Pratt's chances as greater than they were.

Temujin said...

Yeah, that was pretty great. And clearly the most honest thing she uttered in that interview. They hate Midwestern flyover country and the people who inhabit those states. Almost as much as they hate Southerners. Lord knows why we put up with them at all.

RCOCEAN II said...

BTW, its standard practice for Blue state Cities and Dc, and elsewhere, to over compensate leftwing protesters when they get slightly injured or jailed by the police. And if there's a wrongful death the amount sky-rockets. George Flyod's family got $24 million without much effort. Ashli babbit's family had to fight for 4 years, and got $1.5 million.

The D's are upset at Trump's "weaponization fund" because they don't want R's being compensated. Weirdly, Mitch McConnell, Pence, Tillis, etc. feel the same way. You can't hate GOPe enough.

I think the question is very specifically those who assaulted police officers. It should be very easy to say "No! People who assaulted police officers do not get free taxpayer giveaways." Should be really fucking easy.

Indefinitely Extended Excursion™️ said...

In a desperate attempt to show strength after falling asleep during a press conference the other day, Trump aggressively berates an NBC correspondent when asked if he will hand over taxpayer money to violent J6 criminals.

"He's put in the hard work of demonstrating to Wisconsin that we matter." He needed your votes - that's how you mattered.

Does Trump attending the Knicks game tonight (resulting in massive inconvenience and cancellation of the outdoor watch party) show that he cares about New Yorkers? Or is it a big fuck you to New Yorkers.

And I haven't even started my beer research yet.

Raman is losing her own district. All her last minute votes are coming from skid row, filled out by NGO personnel with no traceable voters, addresses or signatures. There are more votes for LA mayor than for CA Governor. It's the most openly fraudulent election in history, including in North Korea.

The big scandal on this blog is all the fake pictures of sunrises over a beautiful lake just to hide the flyover hellhole Welker was dragged through to talk to Hitler.

I’d forgotten that Minneapolis paid George Floyd’s family $27 million in compensation. What a great story it might make for an enterprising journalist to revisit the family five years later, and see what they have done with the money and how it impacted their lives.
I’m pretty certain that story will never be written.

This seemed like a better opportunity for Ann Althouse to engage with The Big Lie by Trump rather than the very minor frustrations of a journalist.

Trump is blaming his poor performance on the rain. Apparently, all it took to unnerve the Great Prevaricator was having to listen to the staccato pitapat of the rain on a metal roof for an hour or so.

Too bad Joe Biden didn’t think of something like that 2 years ago, he might still be President today. The lights. It was the lights. There was an odor in the green room, I was gassed. Once you accept the Great Prevaricator’s approach, there is nothing that can’t be explained away.

Trump, Hegseth, and Rubio are all great thinkers and communicators. The Dem Media’s trying to one up them are forced into hopeless inanity.

mezzrow said...

This illustrates the dimensions of Trump's weakness.

It is not that he walked out, it is that he felt the need to communicate with the Sunday morning show in the first place. His weakness is mine - he is a twentieth century man, living out of his time.

Do not offer their cracked lips a sip of water. Trump wants them around for the next round of negotiations. That said, we may be moving from the gradually phase to the all at once phase. Fiat voluntas Dei.

Chippewa Falls is beautiful WI territory. It's a pain in the ass drive, but worth it. Eau Claire just south, is a crazy liberal college town. Both closer to Minneapolis than Milwaukee or Madison. But there is a regional airport in Eau Claire, and daily flights in and out of O'Hare. I doubt she landed in Milwaukee or Madison and had to drive there.

Milwaukee and Madison are crooked and uncontrollable. Opposite ends of the left wing spectrum. Milwaukee is crazy sad hood violence and poverty with elite white pockets. Madison is elite white liberals and blue haired college kids.

Don't let "Wisconsin Nice" fool you. It's not so nice anymore, and the voter fraud is obvious.

COVID was used to usher in this new era of untraceable absentee ballots. It's just a cover for fraud, providing deniability and 'no evidence', while eliminating all vote integrity safeguards.

The lie is that it helps the voting "franchise." It's bullshit and Trump is right. We're the only country that currently allows this fraud.
