An era where the abusers of children are never held responsible. In a sane society they’d be stood against a wall.
It’s been fascinating to watch this lunacy blossom. As it withers, I imagine the perpetrators will slink away with no accountability.
Some have been predicting a wave of vindictive lawsuits in the future, that will put an end to these acts of child abuse.

Women are experts at psychological warfare (it's really all they have), most especially where intra-feminine competition is concerned. If gossip, stealing each other's boyfriends and calling each other fat were guns, artillery, and napalm then getting your competition to sterilize herself and lop her boobs off is a fission bomb.
And to top it all off, misery simply loves company, and women detest being alone as much as they thirst for attention.
Horrifying fact: many young "trans men" are autistic young women who've faced significant difficulty "fitting in" with peers, are at more risk for anorexia and body dysmorphia conditions. These young autistic women face many challenges, including difficulty coping with puberty, social unpopularity, few coping skills, and parents (mothers) who want both an answer (trans) and a fix (trans protocols).
Body mutilation via surgeries and drugs is obviously not the answer. Nonetheless, Medical Industry Complex and Big Pharma enthusiastically embrace any high-profit medical treatment protocol, with little to no liability risk. But the young autistic women who physically became "trans-men" face a hard life in their altered bodies, their psychological problems both unresolved and compounded.

Autistic women tend to be diagnosed later in life, often only after their own young preschool sons are diagnosed, when family-tree histories are assembled regarding personality traits of young boy's parents, grandparents, and aunts-uncles-cousins. Autistic women are better at "masking" and "role-playing", of mimicking their peers in effort to fit in, and can pass as "unpopular" rather than "autistic spectrum".

You are of course aware that testosterone functions as an antidepressant, especially within the first five years of its administration. Girls "transitioning to male" very frequently feel happier in those early years because of the hormone, plus the incredible love-bombing they receive from "their online community."
There's a reason gender clinics generally don't do long-term follow-up. (An interesting claim by those clinics is that they can't, if the patient legally changes names, because of HIPAA or its equivalent abroad. Seems to me a waiver signed at the beginning of "transition" would permit something so important as long-term follow-up.)

Kak, you know what makes a person with anorexia happy? Seeing space between her thighs all the way from crotch to knees. You know what makes teenage girls feel happy? Lots and lots of approval from those whom they perceive to be their peers or heroes - see for instance Slenderman. You know what makes people with Asperger's-style autism happy? Being allowed to dwell obsessively on the thing of the moment.*
When the person in question is 13, 14, 15, do you think it is a good idea to encourage any of these things?
