As has been stated, Obama received the award before he did anything. In essence, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for just showing up Black. A lot of people have shown up Black over the course of history, but Obama is the first to have the Nobel committee actually swoon before their vote. And so he was the first to receive the award for just showing up. And it didn't matter that the world blew up under his watch. Once given, it's not taken back. Kinda like the Pulitzer, another one whose actual stature is sinking well below its reputation.
Remember, they also gave one to Yasser Arafat, who never saw an intifada he couldn't start. He stole billions slated for the Palestinians, started wars, refused peace offers, got people killed, and yet, showed up smiling to accept his Nobel.
And one of my favorites, Rigoberta Menchu, whose life story in "I, Rigoberta Menchu" turned out to be mostly fabricated. Like Obama, she had the right essentials, in her case, gender, skin color, and the proper amount of 'activist fighting the man'.
What is my point? I'm not sure the Nobel Prize for Peace means much any more. It's not like the Prize for chemistry or physics. Or even literature, this year going out to someone who refuses to use periods.
As for Trump, he should receive it. He's getting done what no one else believed could get done. Even if for only a week. But it may be too early for an award. The Peace Prize has a bit less than $22k of gold at current market values (priced at 24 carat, which it is not). Plus they get 11 million Swedish kroner, which is about $1 million US.

Trump likes to make announcements about 'peace deals' between Israel and Palestine, but so far nothing has come of them. There was a supposed cease fire in February when the Palestinians were supposed to release all the hostages, but apparently they still have hostages. The American policy up to now has been to give Israel a blank check to do what it wants, and while that policy was flawed changing it now seems worse. Israel is on the cusp of resolving the Gaza issue for good. We can do nothing and just let them win, then there will be peace.
As others have pointed out, destroying venezuelan boats (which I think it's fine actually), deploying the national guard to American cities (very bad), and ICE rounding up gardeners (mostly bad) are also factors that will prevent Trump from getting a Nobel prize even if Ukraine and Israel were resolved.

There is not a change in the world that President Trump will get the Nobel Peace Prize. He is not 'their kind of guy'. Globalists are willfully ignorant of the workings of the real world.
Of course we will all know in a few days, but I suspect Trump will not receive it this year. One argument in favor of Trump is that awarding the Nobel Peace Prize now makes it harder for Hamas to violate the agreement without international condemnation. But I think the committee will overlook that on the grounds that they don't know if the agreement will hold but that with any luck it will fall apart before they have to award him the prize next year.
I don't think he should refuse it.
A better response would be to just email the committee saying something like "thanks guys. Appreciated, pleas FedEx to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC"
