I am in a new neighborhood, we were hoping to see some kids, but it seems like they have different customs here. People set up tables by the sidewalk, the kids are squired around in golf carts. Well, we will see, hopefully we get one at least.
There's a long interview with Gay Talese which ends up as a great exercise in dropping names of literary greats. But he mentions attending Yankees games often in Steinbrenner's box with Donald Trump present. Trump would always leave before the game was over, but offer Talese a ride back downtown. Anyway, Talese's theory is that Trump got his management style from watching Steinbrenner manage the Yankees. The last literary lion of New York
For a few years when I was a young teen, my parents set up a picnic table in front of the garage and offered apple cider and cinnamon donut holes to both parents and Trick-or-Treaters. It was a big hit with all, a rural subdivision, so both were getting tired and thirsty and a little hungry from all the walking. Golf Carts? Why when I was a kid, we had to tote a croaker sack with rocks in it, uphill in all directions, sometimes 4 ft of snow, and our costumes were all tropical, by law.
’FMR. GOV. ANDREW CUOMO: I am saying, I am not going there. That is not my father's Democratic party. It's not my Democratic party. It's not Bill Clinton's Democratic party. It's not Barack Obama's Democratic party. This is a socialist party. It would be the death, it would be the death of the Democratic party.
The Republicans are licking their lips, hoping this kid Mamdani wins because they can pick 'em up and carry 'em around the country and say, here's the Democratic party. 34-years-old, never had a job. Wants to decriminalize prostitution, doesn't like the police, defund the police, abolish jails. Literally a socialist. Anti-business, anti-corporate, government should control the means of production. That's their first motto. That's Marxism. So if this socialist wing wins, the Democratic party dies, in my opinion...’
Here, for Halloween the little kids go around on Sunday with their parents in broad daylight. Sometimes there's a whole party group of adults, just strolling and chatting. Now, today it's the big kids turn. I'm waiting with a ton of candy. I want to tell them: "Take all you want, sugar up, this is the evil house." But maybe I better just say, "What a beautiful princess dress." I don't recognize most of the costumes, because I never watch any the of new cartoon shows but I know a princess dress when I see one.
Saw an unfamiliar car stopped in front of the house, and wondered why--didn't see the driver's kids at all and realized that T&T starts before sundown nowadays.
When I was a kid almost everyone gave out candy; now it's maybe 15-20% around here. But the participants make up for us fuddies with their huge plastic skeletons, ghouls, and monsters, and many of them set up stands as others have mentioned.
We didn't even buy a cheap bag, and are staying dark.
Republicans havent forgotten he abolished cash bail he told guj owners and christians to leave he seems to have more animus against center right people then he does against man amdani having folded last week with that minor ad
What a deeply pathetic figure we have to stave off a demon
We have pretty frequent occasion to drive across West Texas, NM, AZ, and some of the empty parts of CA, and we've always kept Verizon as our carrier because it was - it WAS, I say - the best in those wide open spaces.
But it's expensive. Does anyone have an opinion about T-Mobile nowadays?
"Does anyone have an opinion about T-Mobile nowadays?"
I lost my T-Mobile phone a couple of months ago. I went online to see if I could get any help, the online rep asked me to fill out some info on a link they provided in order to access my account. I tried, but for some reason, the form did not accept my input. The online rep said that, without that info, he couldn't help and I'd have to go to a T-Mobile store. So I did that and the only help they could provide was to attempt to sell me a new phone.
I'm reposting something I shared in a comment on a thread earlier today because I thought it was pretty cool, and deserved greater visibility.
I discovered one of my favorite restaurant murals on a trip to Texas in October 2021, when I stopped in Denton, where I lived for a year as a child, and went to LSA Burger Co. for lunch. My burger was excellent and the decor was really cool. This video from 2017 shows the mural starting at the 1:20 mark. It's a parody of the Last Supper, featuring musical artists that influenced the Texas music scene. (L-R: George Jones, Selena, Roy Orbison, Waylon Jennings, Scott Joplin, Janis Joplin, Jesus, Bob Wills, Willie Nelson, Freddie Fender, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Holly, T-Bone Walker).

My favourite restaurant mural though technically not in a restaurant. The font and size when looking through the window of the Burger King across the street…a tromp l’oeil of floating type against the concrete background Susan is a pinhead. The pink version is not the original. It seems to have been lost to history…or not posted online..
We just switched to T-Mobile. Much better than Verizon, who we had about 2 years ago and AT&T that we had in the interim. Verizon is just too expensive. AT&T cellular service is better than their abysmal customer service. Primarily though, we got T-Mobile for traveling in the Caribbean where it is mostly like being in the US, plus emergency Starlink capabilities. Our bill was also cut nearly in half for the same number of devices. That cut isn't introductory. Rather it is locked in for a couple of years. YMMV.
As an old fart I use Consumer Cellular, and it works for me. I have been able to roam in a number of European countries without a hitch and without a huge bill.
Headline that Google just fed me, from a site called The Conversation:
Sharia law isn’t taking over Britain – it’s an inevitable legacy of its colonial legal history
The upshot appears to be that in its colonial-era holdings, Britain tried to incorporate some elements of local jurisprudence in order to get the locals on board. Therefore it's only natural that there should be Sharia law zones in Britain - the ghosts of British colonialists smile and nod.
I'm seeing what looks like a £2,000 pound playground just sitting in a lake, somewhere near Madison Wisconsin, and nobody is backing up their F150 to retrieve it.
It is the clearest sign yet that nobody, nobody is worried about them tariffs, or SNAP running out of money, or someone stealing the Epstein files from the super secret vault at Treasury.
Tucker Carlson’s interview with far-right antisemite Nick Fuentes divides conservatives
Heritage Foundation defended former Fox News host, others slammed him for platforming white supremacist
On the podcast, Carlson called out Republicans including Senator Ted Cruz, the former president George W Bush and the ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, for being “Christian Zionists” who have been “seized by this brain virus”.
“I dislike them more than anybody,” said Carlson, the former Fox host whose podcast has skewed further to the right during the second Trump term.
Fuentes – who used to be ostracized by the mainstream right for his views, including support of Hitler and claims that Jews run the country – said on the podcast that “organized Jewry” held outsize influence and said he was a fan of Joseph Stalin.
In remarks to the Republican Jewish Coalition after the podcast aired on Thursday, Cruz said: “Now is a time for choosing. Now is a time for courage … If you sit there with someone who says Adolf Hitler was very, very cool and their mission is to combat and defeat ‘global Jewry’, and you say nothing, then you are a coward, and you are complicit in that evil.”
Cruz also said he had seen more antisemitism on the right in the last six months than he had seen in his entire life, claiming it was a “poison” and that the party and the country were “facing an existential crisis.”
First year ever not one trick or treater. I didn’t even see one car with trick or treaters driving through the neighborhood. I guess it was inevitable. Thirty years ago when we moved here the kids would come for hours on end. One house always had a haunted house for the kids to go through.
Now our neighborhood is mostly older or retired folks. The school bus still comes through the neighborhood but only stops at one house that has foster children.
Maybe next year will be better. A young family bought a house and the are remodeling it.
“Stop trying to make Fuentes happen. It's not going to happen.”
You should be telling conservatives this, not me or liberals. Fuentes is happening among conservatives whether you close your eyes and wish it away or not.
In my small Arizona town we are expecting hundreds of kids over the next couple hours.
You wouldn't be on Mt. Vernon Street in Prescott, by any chance?
Prescott does Halloween (and Christmas) better than anyplace else in the state, and the owners of the many lovingly restored Victorian mansions on leafy Mt. Vernon Street set the benchmark for the whole town for both holidays. Half a mile of the street is barricaded to traffic for Halloween, and the city fathers and Chamber of Commerce types actually subsidize the decorations and candy handouts. I think it's thousands of children who are there right now, not hundreds. People drive up from Phoenix with their kids to take part.
I'm not going to take any instruction on how to deal with anti-Semites from today's Left.
This Fuentes fool would struggle to fill a high school gym with his followers, but the bicoastal wokies and their counterparts in Europe have regularly had hundreds of thousands of people in the streets howling for the extermination of the Jews for years now, with support from some of the biggest names in their respective parties.
”Cruz also said he had seen more antisemitism on the right in the last six months than he had seen in his entire life, claiming it was a “poison” and that the party and the country were “facing an existential crisis.”
We had about 30 trick-or-treaters. The numbers have increased over the years, as the neighborhood has evolved from mostly oldsters when I moved in 30 years ago, to a mix of oldsters and young families.
'Cruz also said he had seen more antisemitism on the right in the last six months than he had seen in his entire life, claiming it was a “poison” and that the party and the country were “facing an existential crisis.”'
Did Cruz reveal how much he has been paid by supporters of the foreign nation, Israel, to denounce its critics as "anti-semites"? Or did he keep that very large number to himself?
I would suggest that if 'Cruz also said he had seen more antisemitism on the right in the last six months than he had seen in his entire life', well, he might want to brace himself. 'Cuz he ain't seen nothin' yet.
Really! Inga and the Dems support an actual communist with an SS tattoo on his body for the past twenty years, and they are on about some nobody loser who claims to be a Republican.
I’ll go first. Anybody who supports nazi or communist ideas or wishes to kill their political rivals or watch their children die should be ostracized from either political party.
Inga, you see conservatives criticizing their own (rightly or wrongly), where are the liberal leaders calling out liberals? Where are the liberal leaders calling out the liberals who compare MAGA, President Trump, etc to Hitler, Nazis, etc. Where are the liberals calling you out for making fun of a Jewish member of team Trump by saying he looked like a Nazi?
I've heard of Fuentes rarely and only in two forms: 1) being denounced by MAGA people on line, and 2) here being promoted by Inga. That all makes sense considering he appears to be an asshole.
'On the podcast, Carlson called out Republicans including Senator Ted Cruz, the former president George W Bush and the ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, for being “Christian Zionists” who have been “seized by this brain virus”.' No fucking kidding! Can you name some other foreign country that all those idiots think should be subsidized to carry out a genocide on their neighbors? Does Mike Huckabee think it's just wonderful that China is genociding the Uighurs, and Tibet? Is Bush delightedly onboard with Boko Haram slaughtering Christians in Nigeria?

Trump vows to ‘fund SNAP as soon as possible’ if court allows, blasts Democrats over shutdown delay
"If we are given the appropriate legal direction by the Court, it will BE MY HONOR to provide the funding, just like I did with Military and Law Enforcement Pay," Trump added. "The Democrats should quit this charade where they hurt people for their own political reasons, and immediately REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT."
“I've heard of Fuentes rarely and only in two forms: 1) being denounced by MAGA people on line, and 2) here being promoted by Inga.”
This is just a dumb comment. Bringing Nick Fuentes to your attention is not me promoting him in a positive way. He is a vile antisemite, incel, Groyper. It’s you conservatives who are in danger from what Fuentes is promoting. Denying he exists and is on the rise in conservatism is akin to putting your fingers in your ears and singing La, La, La La La…
“No fucking kidding! Can you name some other foreign country that all those idiots think should be subsidized to carry out a genocide on their neighbors? Maybe conservatives should be questioning Trump’s support of Zionists, but embracing Nick Fuentes by Kevin Roberts of the Heritage Foundation seems crazy.
Diversity (e.g. racism, sexism, etc) and DEIsm (i.e. institutional, systemic Diversity) under the principle of political congruence ("=") is a liberal and progressive disorder that threatens the viability of nations and out Posterity around the world.
I expect that the Continuing Resolution will be approved on Wednesday or Thursday with Fetterman and a few other swing-state Dems crossing aisle. They are only holding out to avoid depressing their base's enthusiasm in the NJ and VA gubernatorial elections (and probably some lower-profile contests). Once the election is past they need this issue to go away: all the people who get or care about SNAP benefits vote D anyway, and media sob stories no longer work, not because of Twitter (as some seem to think) but because no one, including the media, has any attention span. The next outrageous outrage of outrageousness will knock the "starving SNAP babies" off the front page. The media thought fragmented attention would benefit them, but it has really put a crimp in those sustained campaigns of coverage info ops that used to be so effective.
(I don't think the NYC mayoral plays any role at all in the timing because, absent a miracle, one D or another wins, so graft and appointments will remain within the party, which is all that really matters).
Welfare programs including SNAP, Medicaid under Obamacares, etc, were expanded in order to compensate for cumulative debt (e.g. progressive prices) forced by liberal fiscal policies, including the Green Grinch, academic grifters, immigration reform, planned parenthood, etc.
The Iran-Hamas Affair and regional terrorism not limited to Israel and Gaza. The anti-Zionists are a lightly camaflouged bloc of antisemitic Diversitists with collateral damage who wield liberal license to entertain abortive ideation as a religious principle.
I’ll go first. Anybody who supports nazi or communist ideas or wishes to kill their political rivals or watch their children die should be ostracized from either political party.
Now your turn, Inga.
————-
Inga responded to later comments but she refused to join me in denouncing nazis, communists and people espousing political violence.
That tells you everything you need to know about Inga and Democrats. They are the party of political violence and antisemitism.
So here’s a Halloween story for you. We’re watching scary movies. We hear a bang. And police voices. They have megaphone. “XXX address, come out with your hands up. We know you’re in there.” It’s the house next door. We don’t want to go outside to check things out in case bullets start flying. This goes on for an hour. We can’t figure out why the situation hasn’t been resolved. All of a sudden, it dawns on us, maybe we’re mishearing, or they mixed up the addresses and maybe they’re waiting for us to come out. (The house alarm is faulty so maybe it sent out a distress signal?) So we cautiously open the front door to . . . nothing. It is the house next door they’re after. Which makes for a lousy story but that’s ok with us

You should go see what he has to say for himself and stop letting lying retards like Inga do your thinking for you.
I watched the whole interview. (In my opinion) Carlson spent most of the time advising Fuentes that when he criticizes Israel or the US relationship with Israel, he should be specific and not generalize. Fuentes never had a chance to amplify his thoughts on Stalin, porn, women. Carlson seemed to monopolize the conversation.

"n.n said... Welfare programs including SNAP, Medicaid under Obamacares, etc, were expanded in order to compensate for cumulative debt (e.g. progressive prices) [I suppose this menas inflation] forced by liberal fiscal policies,"
Yes, I think the expansion of programs like SNAP was bad policy to cover up other bad policies. And, yes, there are lots of illegals on SNAP although that's banned because there is an exception for refugees and asylum seekers and that's claimed by almost all of them. All of that said, there's lots of decent Americans on SNAP, lots of veterans, lots of people in expensive cities or dying towns who don't know how to leave their networks. The government shutdown is going to get very real tomorrow for them. And then for the rest of us. The only person with a new idea is Trump, telling the courts to tell him what is legal for him to do. Executive action to dispense money not allocated by Congress is illegal and if he just did it, some judge undoubtedly issue an injunction. But if the courts tell the President to fund SNAP anyhow he can, that will legalize various other actions. Yet if they don't, they'll be blamed for starving people. I think they'll shrink inside their black robes into very small people, talking about their limitations
Basically, funding is up to Congress and the Congress critters are all back home with their constituents who, I think, will send them here Monday determined to solve the issue by close of business. It's on the Dems because they are holding the food funds for Americans hostage and demanding as a ransom that health care be funded for the 12 million illegals Biden let in. But it's also on the Dems because they are the ones who expanded SNAP in place of fighting inflation.
Regardless, people now have to have their grocery money. Period.
THIS is what is making the Democrats refusal to sign on to a clean CR infuriating. Obama lied, people are dying, and the Democrats still want us to pay an arm and a leg to get healthcare with what THEY rammed down our throats. ( his voice makes me cringe.....)

Halloween went well. Our neighborhood is now mostly young families with toddlers to 4 and five year olds. I sit at the end of my driveway in a lawn chair with a buddy heater at my feet. The festivities end when I run out of candy or propane. Propane won so I dumped the rest of the candy in my neighbors bowl and called it a night. And yes I ate the twizzlers.
@wendybar, here’s an idea I’ve been toying with. Maybe what the Republican leadership might consider is a compromise where they agree to fund the Obamacare subsidies one more year (actually 11 months to account for the federal fiscal year ending September 30th) in exchange for the Democrats (1) publicly admitting that Obamacare has been a disaster and that in the next budget very vestige of Obamacare must be purged, and (2) Democrats agree to fund the Trump administration to map the legislative and administrative steps to get the US back to healthcare pre-2012.
"My ability to draw could be done this week. This might be the last time I draw — 'cause my hand is increasingly paralyzed from whatever is going on medically with me."
I contemplate life without Dilbert. It fucking sucks.
Rusty, I did the same here sans propane heater. I could have used one because it was pretty chilly for LUVL, probably because it was nice clear evening. Still not as bad as some Halloweens back in Iowa. I made up about forty small bags of candy and probably passed out two-thirds. I had a few kit-kats, and saved a pumpkin reeses cup for my wife.

“ For leftists, this situation presents a critical juncture. The choice they face is whether to prioritize inclusive policies that support LGBTQ+ rights, even when they conflict with the cultural values of some immigrant communities, or to maintain alliances with these communities at the expense of those rights.”
Time to choose, Lefties. In the city of Manchester (England), about 22.3% of residents identified as Muslim in the 2021 Census.

Trump does precisely what you said Yesterday that he should do (make noises like he will move heaven and earth to reopen the government, put the onus on the Democrats) and you whine about it. I begin to doubt your sincerity. I begin to think that you are just a grumpy naysayer.
“Inga responded to later comments but she refused to join me in denouncing nazis, communists and people espousing political violence.

Bill, why do you think I post comments expressing concern for the rising amount of antisemitism happening on the right? It’s not happening on the left…we anti-fascism. Of course political violence and communism are to be rejected, that’s sort of a duh. You calling upon me in that way is silly, there is nothing in anything I’ve ever posted that indicates what you accuse me of. Now go look in your OWN backyard.

"The Democrats should quit this charade where they hurt people for their own political reasons, and immediately REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT."
Of course Trump had to say this to slide out from under the public blaming him and Republicans for the government shut down and shutting down SNAP. No one is fooled by his comment, it’s a transparent attempt to shrug off blame and pretend they needed the court to “allow” them to use emergency funds for SNAP. Why is anyone still believing anything Trump says?

Remember the fable about the scorpion and the frog?
"The Democrats should quit this charade where they hurt people for their own political reasons, and immediately REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT."
Do you dispute this, Inga? Do you dispute that the Republicans have on the table a continuing resolution to fund government at the same levels as before the shutdown, across the board, but the Dems won't vote for it because it doesn't include more spending that the Democrats are demanding?
Let me get this straight. We are repeated harangued by the Progressive Leftists that Donald Trump is a fascist, and authoritarian, and that the Trump Presidency (Pt II) is a threat to Our Democracy, and that Congress, and only Congress is in charge of determining government spending. So when the Federal Government shuts down, what happens? A Progressive Liberal judge considers instructing the President how he should be spending money to fund Food Stamps?
Hassayamper said... In my small Arizona town we are expecting hundreds of kids over the next couple hours.

Funny you should ask that. I used to live on Mt Vernon when I was a kid! Great neighborhood to grow up in! There were kids in all the houses on the street. No, I'm over in Clarkdale now on the other side of the hill.
"instructing the President how he should be spending money to fund Food Stamps?"
Just telling him to do the same thing he did when Govt shut down on his first term. Same situation, same funds available to fund SNAP.
Don't worry, your GOP House members are doing great PR with their tweets about SNAP beneficiaries being crackheads while showing a picture of the stocked pantry in their million dollar house.
Of course Trump had to say this to slide out from under the public blaming him and Republicans for the government shut down and shutting down SNAP.
Only fools, idiots, and third-rate jerks believe that the Republicans are responsible for the government shutdown. Althouse should set up a poll so we can vote on which of these categories Inga falls into. (My vote is for “all of the above.”)
@Eva Marie, so they can whine about Republicans not rescuing them as Mamdani and the keffiyah-wearing thugs from Columbia march them off to be gas chambers.

The threads where left tries to equate the right with being just as violent are hilarious. Inga, Howard, Dinky, TeaBag, etc, would never have the balls to wear a maga hat out in public. Dems have nothing to fear at Trump rallies or in Red restruants or shopping centers. Dems not gonna get cars vandalized unless it is another dem doing it to protest manufacturer of the automobile.
During the original 2016 anti-trump hysteria, I had considered going to the shopping center and covering "Clinton" stickers with" Trump" bumper stickers. Upon reflection. figured that, although it would be pretty darn funny, the cars would very possibly get keyed. So I didn't do it.

What the Republicans should do is, every time a leftist judge issues an injunction, go find a judge to rule in opposition. Then, Trump can pick which ruling to go with.

This pair of kids is making Halloween great again!
Nervous but hoping for the Bluejays to win the baseball tonight!
Hope it goes better for you hosers than the Stanley Cup Finals! No, really, I do. Good luck.

We have spooky wildlife so no treaters 😳🐊🪇
In hockey I follow the Leafs so I am quite used to disappointment.
Number three above - lovely! Happy Halloween!!
..."People set up tables by the sidewalk..."
From Cuomo’s interview with Stephen A. Smith:
’FMR.
Whoopsie!
So if this socialist wing wins, the Democratic party dies, in my opinion...
As it should. What a plague they have become. Here's hoping Cuomo is 100% spot-on.
On this Halloween, keep in mind if you see leftists dressed up as Charlie Kirk, it's not really happening because Inga doesn't know anyone doing that.
We're exaggerating what they're doing in order to make them look bad.
That third picture is a great Halloween picture with that sinister branch sticking out as the partially clouded sun sinks behind the Dome of Evil.
Saw an unfamiliar car stopped in front of the house, and wondered why--didn't see the driver's kids at all and realized that T&T starts before sundown nowadays.

We didn't even buy a cheap bag, and are staying dark.

I'm not a big T-Mobile fan.

My spouse’s and my cell phone are with Verizon. Is switching to Patriot Mobile (or others) a seamless transition?
In my small Arizona town we are expecting hundreds of kids over the next couple hours.
Boo-ya, Boo-ya, Boo-ya.
Happy Halloween!

How good do we have it under King Trump?
I'm seeing what looks like a £2,000 pound playground just sitting in a lake, somewhere near Madison Wisconsin, and nobody is backing up their F150 to retrieve it.
It is the clearest sign yet that nobody, nobody is worried about them tariffs, or SNAP running out of money, or someone stealing the Epstein files from the super secret vault at Treasury.

Scary stuff happening among conservatives…

For AT&T costumers: link to what i got
First year ever not one trick or treater. I didn’t even see one car with trick or treaters driving through the neighborhood. I guess it was inevitable. Thirty years ago when we moved here the kids would come for hours on end. One house always had a haunted house for the kids to go through.
Now our neighborhood is mostly older or retired folks. The school bus still comes through the neighborhood but only stops at one house that has foster children.
Maybe next year will be better. A young family bought a house and the are remodeling it.
Such is the arc of life.
Stop trying to make Fuentes happen. It's not going to happen.
“Stop trying to make Fuentes happen. It's not going to happen.”
You should be telling conservatives this, not me or liberals. Fuentes is happening among conservatives whether you close your eyes and wish it away or not.
And… what else is happening among the right, as Ted Cruz says, is antisemitism.
I’m glad the Dems could drop their Palestinian flags long enough to denounce anti-Semitism… lol
Inga, you're a hoot.
The left needs to police its murderous mainstream before telling the right it needs to police its fringe.
I look at the situation, and I have to say; "Adam Schiff was made, for prison. And prison was made, for Adam Schiff".
Now your turn, Inga.
Picture 3 is really special
Inga, you see conservatives criticizing their own (rightly or wrongly), where are the liberal leaders calling out liberals? Where are the liberal leaders calling out the liberals who compare MAGA, President Trump, etc to Hitler, Nazis, etc. Where are the liberals calling you out for making fun of a Jewish member of team Trump by saying he looked like a Nazi?
I stand with Ted Cruz
I've heard of Fuentes rarely and only in two forms: 1) being denounced by MAGA people on line, and 2) here being promoted by Inga. That all makes sense considering he appears to be an asshole.
'On the podcast, Carlson called out Republicans including Senator Ted Cruz, the former president George W Bush and the ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, for being “Christian Zionists” who have been “seized by this brain virus”.'
No fucking kidding!

I'd never heard of groypers either, until Inga. My liberal mother "taught" me about Q-Anon.
Genocide targeting Israelis and Gazans under Hamas terrorist dictatorship funded through Obama's Iran-Palestinian Affair.

Inga's trying to protect us! Awww…

Happy Halloween!
Ive shown up at many a comic con, and gotten praise, but gotta say:
JD Vance definately wins Halloween this year!

On Carlson’s show Fuentes said this about Stalin: “I’m a fan… Always an admirer.” Not a good look.

That last photo is great. I'm gonna save it. With your permission, of course.
There’s this from Scott Adams:
"My ability to draw could be done this week. This might be the last time I draw — 'cause my hand is increasingly paralyzed from whatever is going on medically with me."
I contemplate life without Dilbert. It fucking sucks.
It's November. I am going to finish my novel. See you guys in December!

Just telling him to do the same thing he did when Govt shut down on his first term. Same situation, same funds available to fund SNAP.

So Trump plays dumb, forgets he funded SNAap this during his first term shutdown.
