A gay humor. A hospitable climate. #ThatIsFunny
The king of humor.
That should be the King of Comedy. Or, since we’re all gay now, the Queen of Comedy.
Donald Trump has a great sense of humor and impeccable comic timing. That's why he can say those things and crack up the surrounding crowd. In comparison, libtard hero Barry Obama was always sullen, snotty, and bitchy when faced with any criticism, and Creepy Joe was always a defensive, belligerent asshole.
That's pretty funny.
Trump's communication techniques will be studied, and emulated forever.
When grievance people constantly insist you pay attention to the correct response is fuck right off. Ann doesn’t think that language is Presidential so Trump cleans up his language. Not to worry I’m sure Ann has another grievance…
Not to worry I’m sure Ann has another grievance…
How can you write that? According to leftist commenters, Althouse is a Trumpster and this blog is MAGA central. People really need to get their fingers pointed in the right direction.
It's a bad look to see a man on the spot. Trump took it to the edge and diffused it masterfully.

Funny stuff. Being he was dealing with Australians, I was reminded of the lefty Aussie PM caught picking his nose and consuming the product on camera… think it was around 2010 or thereabouts.

Caught one og the young ones rolling a booger between her fingers. Asked her what she was going to do with it;
"I don't know, it just disappears"
Civility bullwhip. Ole!
Trump is like, ‘Is that the best you got?’
You insinuate someone who is right there, as though the press conference is about this other person, but just to use them as a springboard board for a gotcha moment. Trump diffused it.
What did the Ambassador say?
Looks like everyone is having a good time.
Australia is one of those countries that the neoliberals used massive immigration to permanently change their politics.
It was one of bill ayers experiments
Iman--In fact the Aussie PM you are thinking of is Kevin Rudd, who is now the Australian ambassador to the US--the very man that Trump was addressing in this clip.
Rudd said some pretty nasty stuff about Trump on social media over the past 8 years, which he immediately scrubbed when Trump won reelection.
He is an odd choice for ambassador to the US in light of that history, but the Aussies have been behaving oddly since COVID 19--a reminder that many Australians are descended culturally from convicts...or prison guards.
LOL, Amadeus 48… what a coincidence! I didn’t even recognize him here.
Trump’s right. Who would like a voracious nose-picker ?!?!
I checked YouTube, in hopes they’d still have the video up, but no…
..."Trump diffused it...."
Was it a negative publicity bomb, or a fart?
The man is our Monty Python. Speaking truth to power using gentle humor.
Take Trump at his word... he doesn't like him and probably never will...
To me it is amazingly refreshing to have any politician, but especially a President of the United States, who isn't deep inside just totally desperate to have everybody like him. In my opinion that's why Sam Donaldson and Dan Rather were so easily able to get under Dick Nixon's skin, and none of his successors were that much better. Maybe Reagan was, but neither of the Bushes.
Is it because he's a billionaire and the money shields him from having to be nice to everyone? Is it because so many of his opponents are so batsh*t crazy that he can't be bothered to GaF anymore? Whatever the reason, I for one find it this attitude to be refreshingly different'
A merry heart is a good medicine.
Bomb the fuckers with it.
Oh that rancid wallaby he needs the mandelson heave ho
I remember when the aussies behaved like redcoats against ordinary citizens
Well I’m offended by an equivalence to lefties…at least someone reads my snark…
libtard hero Barry Obama was always sullen, snotty, and bitchy when faced with any criticism
But without him making a joke about Trump, we might not have had Trump.
I rewatched some of Obama''s bit. He really does not do jokes well. He doesn't have the timing. Everything is the same cadence that he used for all of his public speaking. Still, bad joke-teller or not, it resulted in an excellent outcome.
rehajm, what the fuck are you talking about?
I've never liked any Australian politicians besides Joh Bjelke-Peterson, and he never even got to be Prime Minister.
Even their nominal conservatives are the same sort of intolerable good-government Mr. Rogers court eunuchs we see in Canada. People who really believe in government and love it for its own sake are always the most banally evil and dangerous of all. Give me someone who hates government and wants to rip it down, any day.
If he really didn't like the guy, he could have offered him a Vegemite sandwich. That's virtually indistinguishable from another kind of sandwich that nobody wants to eat. But it was all slap and tickle and giggles--Trump knows how to get people to have a good time.
This whole event is very telling.
Trump doesn't seem to remember that foreign ambassadors such as Australia's Kevin Rudd only serve at Trump's direction and with Trump's permission.
At any time, he can declare any foreign ambassador persona non grata and that ambassador is out of a job.
Agreed, Mary Beth. I've never understood those non-Democrat Party true believers who considered Obama a great orator. And his sense of humor was mean girls snark at best, probably why self-absorbed libtards with superiority complexes felt such a connection to him.

When asked if he said anything bad about Trump the ambassador said, "before I took this position."
I like vegemite. My uncle used to regularly send us vegemite (and clotted cream and Cadbury's chocolate) from Australia.
It’s nauseating that the MSM laughs at all the shit that comes out of his mouth
Rudd will never catch a Sheila with that nasty habit. A wallaby doesn’t even need to be tied down to know it should not feed on THAT!
h/t Rolf Harris
Trump trumped him good.
As Michael Malice said "We really don't deserve him."
You know what? The lefties are right. Trump is the king.
He just makes me chunder (what happened to the self reliant aussie)
from the foregoing that would be
... voracious nose-picky-eater ?!?!
You know why the lefties are so bitter, angry and unhappy all the time? They're missing out on the sheer joy of being a patriotic American and a Trump supporter and deep down they know it.
Its in their nature,
Australians are tough. They'll laugh about this.
"I rewatched some of Obama''s bit. He really does not do jokes well. He doesn't have the timing."
Even his joke about being good at killing people? That's gold, Jerry- gold!
longer version of video from Sundance clearer sound too
That was some chum that halperin and heileman jumped on
It’s just a clown show, isn’t it?! It’s all a constant exhausting performance.
Trump will honor the deal until the memory issues kick in and he suddenly views Albanese as trying to screw him over. The ace that Albanese now holds is significant deposits of rare earth metals, so that should buy a decent amount of engagement -- as everything is transactional now.
That was proven wrong, with the rise of islamic state
Wrong? When has kakAH ever been right?!

Weather Underground down under actually only broadcasts Aussie weather.
Magic eightball always cracked
Kevin Rudd is probably one of the most narcissistic and self-unaware politicians of my lifetime. Yes, I include Kamala Harris in that assessment. (Deep down, I think Kamala actually does understand what a talentless loser she is. Kevin Rudd to this day has no clue).
Vegemite sandwiches are delicious. A Vegemite grilled cheese is one of life's great pleasures. Even when one is buying bread from a man in Brussels.

The big difference - Trump knows in his heart that he is working hard for America and has earned his pace at the head of the table, and so is comfortable with the occasional jab. Obama and Biden knew deep in their black hearts that they were frauds installed by voter fraud and so were very touchy about any perceived slight.

That was the very same person - Kevin Rudd - who is the current Ambassador and the subject of the comment now.
And it was ear wax he ate, rather than picking his nose

There''s actually at least two instances. One on Twitter, second on a video that leaked.
