It would be easy to fix the FBI. Fire everyone and start from scratch.
It does not do it's core job with any kind of competency. We wouldn't be missing much and we would save a lot of money.

Whether Satan exists or not, I think it's amazing how much the idea of him works in the human sphere, and how useful it is to imagine some power like that and how it would function. There is a large fraction of the American Jewish population that believes devout Christians to be their worst enemy. It is unfortunate that the ADL at this time seems to be firmly in their grip. The FBI can reconsider and reestablish a relationship if that changes in the future.

You can call it unserious. There is no real need for the FBI. It started as an antitrust investigation unit, but it morphed into what it is today in 1935 after bunch of losers who were trying to prohibit drinking in the early 30's lost their jobs busting moonshine and needed a government job.
The FBI has morphed into one of the worst government agencies ever created with very little to show for itself other than a constant persecution of government's enemies.
Math is going to fix all of those other problems you mentioned whether you want to fix them or not.
I ask a simple question; "What the hell is a federal law enforcement agency doing taking direction from an NGO?"
