Assuming this is mid-morning cafe post, permit me to offer this:

While fleeing ICE, the Des Moines school superintendent was carrying a pistol wrapped in a towel in his vehicle. A crime for an illegal alien. But it gets better. A search of his house revealed 3 more weapons.

Federal firearms background form 4473, question 12c: Are you an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States?

Moar gun laws!!

Portland PD arrested
@nicksortor - last night

Antifa runs Portland and the police protect them. They ignore violent assaults by domestic terrorists but arrest journalists for showing the truth.

Lawlessness doesn’t happen by accident, it’s enabled.

Remember how Chicago mayor Richard Dailey (D) ended the 1968 riots. He didn’t need no stinking’ federal troops. That was back when D’s were part of the law and order crowd. Same with Frank Rizzo in Philly.

Great point Humperdinck. The Chicago Police reaction during the convention really helped the Democrats solidify their base, nominated the best possible candidate, Hubert Humperdinck, who soundly defeated Richard Nixon, right?

I don't think we will be getting much color here this year. It's been extremely dry here so far. All the poplar trees have dropped most of their leaves and the Maples are starting to show some yellow and orange. The lilacs are blooming which is strange. Guess they think it's spring again.

Update: X
BREAKING: Just spoke on the phone with
@nicksortor
after he was released from custody. He tells me he’s been charged with disorderly conduct. I asked what happened?

He says he was getting video of protesters getting maced by federal agents, which was embarrassing video for them as they were “crying” etc. He says they then swarmed/surrounded him, pushed him down into a flower bed, and someone threw a punch. Nick says he swung back and missed, then disengaged and walked over to a group of Portland PD.

He says he was then shocked to be arrested by them, and he sat in the back of a police cruiser while officers figured out what to charge him with."

Here in Virginia the vines whose leaves turn red about the same time that the maples are changing colors have those leaves in clusters of three — poison Ivy!

sorry - It get worse.
"ANTIFA: The Portland Police are now colluding with Antifa to prosecute federal officers protecting the ICE facility. Each time federal officers engage with Antifa Portland Police liaisons collect statements and videos from Antifa to facilitate state criminal charges against DHS agents. The officers do NOT intervene when they witness Antifa committing assaults, vandalism, or trespass ..."

Looks like it might be Virginia creeper. We have some on our land in Texas too. Right now I'm in Idaho, next to a river, and I'm seeing some here, too. Pervasive.

It is Virginia Creeper, not poison ivy. Btw, Virginia Creeper is the “ivy” that grows on the wall at Wrigley Field.
