I'm seeing apparent eyewitnesses on TV saying they saw him shot in the chest/neck with "gushing" blood. I note that it is taking a very long time to hear an update on Kirk's condition, and I don't think that is a positive sign. Looking at the video embedded above, I think it appears that he was shot in the chest.

I saw a close up video of it happening, because I didn't realize what it was - I just thought it was one of his usual clips. The bullet hit his jugular. I won't even describe the horror of what I saw. It was awful. Please don't go looking for it. I literally feel sick to my stomach. Zero chance he survives that. I am simultaneously heartbroken and infuriated.

If you don't yet have a weapon, start with a rifle, the queen of all weapons. I recommend one of the inexpensive lower-middle tier AR-15's from large makers like Ruger, Smith & Wesson, or Springfield. If you've got money to burn, Geissele, Daniel Defense, or LMT. If you're in a blue-state shithole that restricts normal weapons, a lever-action cowboy gun is a good choice. I'd buy Marlin or Winchester, but for a limited budget Henry or Rossi will do.
The next thing to buy is a pistol. There's a vast selection but I see no reason for a beginner to buy anything but one of the smaller Glocks.
The third weapon needed is a pump-action shotgun, either a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870, with 18 inch barrel and extended magazine. Especially with Remington, find either a very old one or a very new one. Those made between approximately 1990 and 2020 are crap.
This is all the firepower anyone who is not a shooting enthusiast needs to defend himself from Democrats. Total budget should not exceed 1500-2000, or less if you buy used. Spend your money on ammunition and training instead.

As far as I know, there is no elections in Utah, so why was it necessary for Charlie Kirk to be holding rallies at Utah Valley?
Students attending Utah schools are about 50% conservative, which puts them way further right than the rest of the country, but I doubt that students send large donations to either party, although NBC is attributing "hundreds of millions of dollars" to Kirk's rallies in the 2024 elections
But if money isn't the reason for the rallies, I would have expected that Charlie Kirk would have been working other states to get new party supporters.
