It occurred to me from comments in a previous thread how I am old enough* to remember when the left championed separation of Church and State, but now they seem to be mad that Trump ISN'T exhibiting the correct Christian behavior as POTUS.
*Meaning more than 1 day old since Lefty positions on any topic are entirely dependent on who's ox is being gored.

I never have nightmares. When things start to get ugly in my dreams, I say to myself, “I think I better wake up”. And I do. This morning I dreamed I attended the Charlie Kirk memorial. As we were streaming out of the stadium I realized I forgot where I parked my car. I immediately woke up. Trying to find my car among 100,000 other cars - now that’s a nightmare.

Great photos today. When I first got a digital camera, I'd hold it upside with mirror lake shots like the first and last ones shown. They look a little different when flipped and force a double take.
Okay I would like to get the brain trust’s help on a jazz question. We are getting close to Halloween, and I remember that jazz stations used to play a record that had some bebop-style riffings and a guy with a cheesy accent doing spoken word that included the phrase “I’m a jazz wampire.” (Yes, with the W like Mr Chekhov).
Can anyone identify this record? note: it is NOT “I’m a Jazz Vampire” from Marion Harris in the 1920s. The one I am looking for must be from the 50s or 60s and has a male vocalist.

Ashland County OH democrats were kicked out of the county fair by the county sheriff for offensive buttons against Trump. They have had a booth county fair for 50 years. Bye bye!
What did the buttons say? “ The buttons at the Ashland County Democrats booth had messages about President Donald Trump like "Is he dead yet?" and "One day, we will wake up to his obituary". Stay classy Commies!

My Bro-in-law attended the memorial service yesterday and here’s his take:
“Here's how things went yesterday
5:00 got picked up and drove out to Glendale
6:30 stood in lines like a canned sardine for 3 1/2 hours
10:00 sat in my seat and listen to music for one hour
11:00 the memorial started with various speakers.
Stephen Miller, Marco Rubio, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK junior, JD Vance, Charlie Kirk's wife, were inspired and awesome.

It was great to see him, but he dragged it out too long. He kinda repeated a lot of things he’d said before, and we waited till the end.. which I think was about 45 minutes.
Lots of people were leaving, I'm sure because of exhaustion from the day.
And wanting to get a Headstart on traffic.
Overall, an amazing day.”
I bought a book on Audible with credits, credits that I pay money for, and halfway through the book it told me that it was gone from Audible. So I guess I didn't "buy" the book, I bought an opportunity to listen to it if I could get through it before they yank it.
