Kid Rock is a step up from Kanye. I guess the Maher invite was a win for both Trump and Maher. Maher's next show where he talks about the dinner is sure to bump his ratings. It' makes Trump look like a bigger man than, say, Obama who never acknowledged Maher's support.......We'll see how his Presidency works out, but as a reality show, there's much to rcommend it.
Based on that costume I wouldn't have given Kid Rock anything more than a MacDonald's cheese burger for dinner. But that's just me. I don't sit down to dinner with clowns very often.

So the White House uses Cisco phones. Recognized it in the photo, and looked it up. In use since 2016, one model for normal, unclassified calls and another model modified for secure calls. Twas a Cisco-ite for 14 years in Santa Clara until Covid inspired me to retire (actually it was everything migrating to the cloud, tech wise, which certainly made sysadmin much less fun, and now with AI eating tech glad I exited when I did).
On further reflection, you could just use the existing My Dinner with Andre script, and just have Maher do the Wallace Shawn part and Trump do the Andre Gregory part. The two parts fit their personalities.
