Meanwhile - Micro Soft NBC and Rachel Raddow(D)(ridiculous hate-monger Soviet propagandist) will not play clips of Trump ever again - because HATE-ZEZ!

The thing is, there's this Trump that the media/Democrat has created. The Evil One. The man who wants to make America like Nazi Germany. The man who would put all people who are not straight, white, Christian in jail.

Then there's the actual Trump who goes out among everyday people and shows kindness, relates to them in small talk, pumps them up, encourages them, thanks them. This is not new. This is how he always dealt with his employees and strangers over the years and there have long been stories about this.

It's tough to fight against that actual Trump when this gets shown. This is why he got 63 million votes last time, more than any incumbent in history.

I know this as a DeSantis fan. I like that DeSantis is an action executive. He's one of those people who is short on rhetoric, heavy on getting things done. I also know that there's no way DeSantis can connect to the people in the way Trump can. So, the Republican side is a tough one.

On the other side, there is no one- not a soul in the Democratic Party, who connects with everyday Americans. Period. They may connect with a talk show host on MSNBC, or with a mass of nose-ringed teachers, or with barely dressed trans women at the White House, but not with the mass of America.

In this respect, it seems impossible that Trump would not be reelected.

Look at the size of that Trump!

Trump loves his grandchildren, unlike the poser in the White House who refuses to acknowledge Navy Joan.

It's soap opera women who control the news, by their entertainment choices. That winds up being the information content.

She's another Trump grasping at power.

Metaphorically, the small screen image within the image shows the veneer of Trump we all recognize, as represented by the large private jet emblazoned with his name on it attracting the attention of the global media.

Yet, the larger image reveals what's truly inside, a man who likes lavishing his granddaughter with attention.

A small Trump the size of a big Trump.

I don't know, the image that came to my mind was of Donald Trump on a trampoline and then the earlier post about sex popped up and it was Donald Trump trying to having sex on a trampoline, very spontaneously, while dodging large boulders and Jonah Goldberg not finding any of it funny.

My version of an Althouse blog remix.

I've posted this here several times in the past, but there was a young lady in one of my classes who was a mid-level manager at one of Trump's golf resorts. This was way back when there was not a hint of him ever running for President. She could not have been more complimentary of how Trump had treated her and the staff, down to the last maid or grounds keeper. Whenever he was there, he made it a point to just walk around and say hello, greeting many by name, asking about their families, making little jokes and just making everyone's day a little brighter. Everyone looked forward to the days he would visit.

I knew little of Trump then, and couldn't have said that I was an admirer. But her affection and admiration for him changed my mind a little.

Most of the staff there, as at any resort, were minorities. When he announced his candidacy, I expected someone from that cohort to step forward with tales of what a creep he was. I looked and waited. It never really happened.

Yeah.

"Does she think she can turn him off?"

She's muting the sound so they can talk.

Trump, the real person, has a long history of connecting with real people. That is so rare among politicians that he may be the only one left.

My favorite clip of Trump with a little kid is him consoling a young boy at his military father's gravesite. Both mother, son and Trump are visibly touched by the moment.

Trump genuinely likes people and it shows. Biden, Pelosi and Clinton seem to consider them a burden to be dealt with.

It’s nice to see a little girl from a famous family looking like a little girl. Normal hair, no stylist tortured the child this morning. Cute little dress appropriate to her age. Just a normal little kid. Good for them.

Watching that Stephanopoulos clip the other day--where he was visibly upset that his network was showing Trump surrounded by an adoring public following the arraignment--reminded me the MSM simply cannot fathom the genuine affection that a sizeable chunk of the populace has for Trump (and he for them).

It's ironic that "getting indicted" by cheesy, third-rate politicized prosecutors gives Trump an opportunity to be photographed acting Presidential, something he does with vastly more aplomb than the usurper Biden (LATHO).

I'd like to understand what is so powerful about this. Isn't the photo of doing stuff with family an old politician's cliché? Admittedly, the stuff isn't usually watching Fox News coverage of that politician's arraignment with a four year old -- that's a new wrinkle. Kennedy playing football with his kids is a more traditional version.

Eric Trump sounds off to Newsmax:

“If you get in the way of the Democratic Party, if you question their power, if you interfere with their little fiefdom, they will target you, they will come after you and they will try and destroy your life,” he said following his father’s latest arrest.

“It is rape and pillage – they will burn down the street. It doesn’t matter for these people.

“They will take out innocent people, they will go after your family, they will go after your kids.”

So in the eyes of the beholder, Democrats rape and pillage, but not his dad, and for that matter, Eric did some pillaging.

In 2017, The Eric Trump Foundation held its annual charity fundraiser on behalf of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis at Trump Westchester. According to Eric, his charity is efficient because he can get his family's golf course for free and have most of the other costs donated, so virtually all the money contributed will go toward helping kids with cancer.

But it turned out that the Trump business billed St. Jude $100,000 for the use of the golf course for one day and Eric's charity gave $500,000 of the event's proceeds to other charities, many of which were connected to Trump family members or interests, including at least four groups that subsequently paid to hold golf tournaments at Trump courses. So the Trump Organization made money off of a supposed charity event dedicated help St, Jude hospital treat childhood cancer patients. Now that is real pillaging.

Speaking of Soap Opera Women.

The Washington Post‘s new chief executive officer is a former executive with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During her time as CEO, the Gates Foundation employed Joe Biden’s niece, Casey Owens.

Patricia Q. Stonesifer, 67, has been on Amazon’s board of directors for close to 30 years and previously led Bill Gates’s controversial foundation. She previously served as a Microsoft executive and even helped to launch MSNBC in 1996. Stonesifer also ran Martha’s Table – a D.C. group assisting those on low incomes.

Nothing to see here. Let's just Move On.

Sorry I couldn't get it as a stand-alone. Seems like is is being buried deeper than a flattering picture of Trump in the Times.

The seventh annual Eric Trump Foundation Golf Invitational at the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York, raised $1.5 million for the kids of St. Jude in a star-studded event September 9.

More than 500 supporters gathered to celebrate the partnership of St. Jude and The Eric Trump Foundation, which recently pledged $20 million to name The Eric Trump Foundation Surgery and ICU Center in a new $198 million tower under construction on the St. Jude campus."
