"If I run, there are forces within the Democratic Party who would be trying to invisibilize me."

"I think they will have an easier time invisibilizing me if I run third party. If I do run, and I run as a Democrat, I will be more inconvenient to the people who need to be inconvenienced."

I love the quote. Great repetition of 2 cool words beginning with "i" — "invisibilize" and "inconvenien- t/ced." Invisibilizing as the defense to inconveniencing. And the way to fight invisibility is to be more inconvenient. Another way to fight invisibility is to say intriguing, interesting things.

The article says Williamson is aiming to take advantage of the anger that's raging in New Hampshire as Democrats seem about to deprive the state of its longstanding distinction as the first primary.

New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley says that such a move will "create an opening for an insurgent candidate — serious or not — who can garner media attention and capitalize on Granite Stater’s anger about being passed over by [Biden’s] campaign."

Garner away, Marianne!

Is that similar to trying to disappear you? Let me be 1st; Marianne Williamson did NOT commit suicide!

Marianne Williamson would make a far better candidate in 2024 than either Biden or TFG but I personally prefer that our next president to be a real winner like Mitch Daniels.

Mr Wibble said...

Williamson versus Trump isn't the campaign we need in 2024, it's the campaign we deserve.

Will this have a chance of diminishizing Biden re-election chances by visiblizing a challenger? Doubtful. Democrats love partylinzing and I'm sure that Biden will leaderize and election machinerize his way to an easy victory.

Garner away, Marianne!

ha ha ha ha

I knew there was a likable Garner out there!

Support Your Local Gunfighter is the funniest western I've ever seen outside of Mel Brooks. It's G-rated but hysterical. It's based on a screenplay from James Edward Grant, who's kind of a genius. He also wrote the screenplay to Donovan's Reef (John Ford's last movie with John Wayne, and his finest).

Grant died in 1966. So the studio decided to use his screenplay and fill it with a lot of the same actors from a recent hit, Support Your Local Sheriff.

But the two movies are radically different! I hate Sheriff. I'm a Gunfighter man. It's got a lot of sexual subtext that makes it fun on a couple of levels.

Garner's a fun actor because he always self-effacing and kind of an anti-hero, in everything he does(!)

It would be fascinating to watch how the Deep State would undermine her if she were to be miraculously elected POTUS.
She's almost as anti-establishment/populist as Trump, with a wiff of hippie patchouli and UFO-think tossed into the mix. But I'm afraid they would leverage her nonsensical enviro-crazy to rake in the bucks for themselves. Solyndra on steroids.

I had no idea you could make someone invisible with just one word. i have trouble verbalising it, just like some people in AA have trouble verbalising anonymous. They end up saying something that sounds like manamonimus. Anonymise is a lot easier to verbalise than it is to say invisibilize. But those two are not the same.

I get what you mean, but you're being far too generous. Physiognomy is real. Schiff is a, in modern parlance, a minor attracted person. And when I say that, I mean he makes Pennywise look cute when he's wearing makeup.

When I say that, I mean he's mainlining adrenochrome from infants when home alone.
When I say that, I mean he gives Mike Kohberger the Willie's.
When I say that, I mean he uses morlocks to clean out the baby cages so witnesses won't snitch on him.

I think you get my drift...

I saw here in a yoga studio in downtown Sioux City, Iowa with about a dozen other people. She went on for 15 minutes with her answer to my question.

She'd have been much better as POTUS then Biden. At least she hasn't been bribed by foreign countries.

And recall that one giant diamond Hunter got as a gift? I'm convinced that the Biden Crime Family has millions in diamonds.

Before anyone makes fun of Marianne, I suggest you read her book "A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles." And then listen to some of her recorded talks, in her role as a minister.

Marianne is a serious person, and knows what she's talking about.
She was my first spiritual teacher.

Look, I'm a conservative libertarian. I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016, and Trump in 2020. But if the Democrats had nominated her, she would have gotten my vote.

I hate it when someone verbizes a word.

rcocean said...

She is of course a fake. She'd become more visible and cause more inconvienience by running as a 3rd party. She won't, because she wants Biden to win - no matter what. She'll put her so-called "Principles" in an invisible lock box if neccessary.

The Leftwing "Independents" are all phonies. Bernie folded like a wet suit in March 2020 and refused to attack Hillary in 2016. Does anyone remember 2020 Democrat primaries? They all refused to take a hard shot at Biden in the debates, and when Biden won Super Tuesday, everyone dropped out and endorsed Biden! They never did figure out the vote count in Iowa.

That's why I think the Democrats should just do away with voting in primaries. Its all fake, and their voters don't care anyway. Just give 'em their share of the graft and toss them some Pro-abortion Pro-Tranny rhetoric and they're happy. Just have a convention, where they can ratify the choice of the party leaders.

Mike of Snoqualmie said...

She should hope the party doesn't Jay-Inslee her. Jay Inslee, our science-based when it's convenient governor, had a smashing 1% popularity during the last Democrat primaries. At the end of those primaries, he'd managed raise his popularity to a whole 0%! His them was that dreaded boogeyman, "climate change."

Some clown on twitter threw out the charge that we are upsetting the "climate stability" with our wasteful CO2 ways. That's the latest hysterical phrasing from our betters. Of course, there's no such thing as climate stability. I mocked Mr. Climate Change Chicken Little about that.

Another bozo (sorry Bozo), tossed out the phrase "climate brawn", whatever that is? I also mocked this other bozo about his latest scare words.

One nice thing about visibly nutty politicians is that they seem to illuminate the invisibilized insanity of nearly all the other ones.

Actually, it's the only nice thing about them after the primaries are over, but it's good while it lasts.

The current Libertarian Party, however isn't nutty or amusing. It's nihilistic and evil. Its' vision of America is one of no borders, no police, no prisons, and drugs from meth to fentanyl completely legalized. Any person on the right who craps away their vote on it is a dupe to the Marxist anarchists who took it over decades ago. If that's your protest vote, you either didn't read the platform or you're unamusingly unhinged.
