Sacha Baron Cohen show ended its season without ever using his encounter with Sarah Palin.

The Daily Beast reports:
Despite Showtime’s attempts to tamp down expectations, it seemed inevitable that Baron Cohen would save Palin’s sit-down interview with Dr. Billy Wayne Ruddick, PhD for the seventh and final episode this Sunday. But it was nowhere to be found, perhaps for legal reasons or simply because the comedian just didn’t think it was good enough.
Instead the finale had O.J. Simpson. See if you think was worth doing:

IN THE COMMENTS: Darrell gives Cohen the joke he deserves: "It would have been funny if OJ stabbed HIM seventeen times."

I refuse to click on that link and pay attention to that guy. Unfunny.

Both he and OJ need to go away.

I wonder how much he paid Palin to complain.
It probably doubled his viewership.

Rumor is, Ted Kennedy liked a good Chappaquiddick joke too.

I was still an undergrad when Cohen's HBO show Da Ali G Show aired, and I remember loving it. I have seen a few smatterings of the Showtime show and could not get into it. I found myself constantly agreeing with Christopher Hitchens' assessment of Borat more than a decade earlier: Borat reveals the painful politeness of American society

Since McCain began trashing Trump it has become fashionable for the left to raise McCain up. Now they are giving his death lots of favorable airtime. If Cohen had aired a Palin segment it would have been an reminder of what at idiot nazi war monger McCain was in 2008, dumping all over this weeks narrative.

I read up to 'Sacha Baron Cohen show ended its season' then stopped.

His humor doesn't strike me as funny. I lump him in with Jon Stewart, Colbert and Maher. Oh so predictable.

"Dr..., PhD" should have been a giveaway to the unsuspecting governor. You use the letters before your name or after it, nobody does both except a charlatan.

I hope he wasn't planning on more than one season because I would think any targets left of any value would have hardened their vetting process by now. James O'Keefe is not on a lot of peoples' radar, but this I'm sure was. After this warning, any handler who lets him through to their employer will not only be fired but will never work again.

I don't know why famous people don't have a blanket clause of, if this interview doesn't go how we want it to go, we own the footage and you don't leave with it. That would stop this mess in its tracks.

as I pointed out, he fooled the Washington speaker's bureau, otherwise palin wouldn't have bothered going such a long way,

Maybe Cohen can revive MTV’s show Punk’d. He’s well past his prime. Time to retire.

To me, Cohen is played out.

There are no second acts in comedian's lives. The schtick is sticky.

This is a big comic yawn - sorry Borat, not edgy or funny...,

Probably just his natural gallantry.

Murdering your ex-wife and her bf and getting away with it is always good for a laugh.

He should try his shtick with Seinfeld over some coffee sometime.

I would guess the Palin footage couldn't be easily manipulated into to making her, Palin, the butt of the joke.

Cohen can see the Soviet Union from his water closet.

Anyone notice that all his victims are Americans?

His goal is to produce programs very popular in the UK.
