"Q. What’s the biggest public misconception about you?"

"A. It takes a lot of time to answer a question like that. At the moment, I’m not that interested in myself."

Does it really matter which famous person whom we think of as being full of himself/herself gave that answer? Wouldn't they all give that answer if they were clever enough to think of it?

ADDED: Confession.

If she only wants 6 people at that dinner party, the first three ought to be named Freud, Jung, and Adler.

She's a great talent, but she's lived in that show-biz, Lefty cocoon for way too long.

Demi Moore's description of herself as "fiercely intelligent" became a Jeopardy question. The other answers were Cher and Dennis Miller--both of who are far too intelligent to have made a dumbass comment like that.

Q. What’s the biggest public misconception about you?

A. That I would answer a question about that.

She missed the opportunity to tell us all she's really a robot.

She's nowhere near as annoying as Jane Fonda. Jane Fonda remains the benchmark. Even Cher is more annoying. Her peak annoying years have passed. The baton has been handed to younger stars like Gwyneth Paltrow.

Streisand has real talent. And she believes in love. And she works hard at entertaining people.

Why are we supposed to hate her again?

traditionalguy something about her proboscis in other people's business I think.

How much did she pay a writer to come up with that arrogant-yet-seemingly-self-effacing answer to a predictable line of questioning?

Why are we supposed to hate her again?

Streisand Effect? Admittedly, many much more obnoxious self-inflicted victims of the Streisand Effect have appeared since her in-retrospect-kind-of-mild offense.

Also, big-time lefty piggy bank.

And frankly, she hasn't done anything interesting in twenty-five years. As far as I'm concerned, she's another one of these aging artists making a living as a cover band for their own material.

Jane Fonda is a no-talent asshole. Streisand has actual talent. If she could put politics aside (she can't, but if she could) she'd be fascinating.

I am not the "Inwood 207" in the Q&As :-)

This would be funny if it didn't sound like a Presidential news conference with the slobbering Lame Stream Media
