Last night at Pete's Ale House.

Thanks to everyone who came to the readers-and-blogger meetup last night at Pete's Ale House. You could have been there too if you'd emailed me for the time and place back whenever that was that I said I was going to do this. The conversation went on for hours, and much ale and fried food was consumed. It was great seeing everyone. I won't post photos or invade your privacy by revealing who's who. You know who you are.

Any regulars wishing to reveal that they were there. . . for us unfortunates who couldn't be?

Let us live a little bit vicariously . . .

I was in Brooklyn, got caught up in the MSU-Notre Dame game and then had the chance to spend some babysitting time with my grand-daughter...alas I missed you all but there are priorities...this one listening to her discover her yell voice.... Hope you all had a good time.

Sounds like fun was had by all. The next time you have a meeting closer than 3500 miles away. Let us know. :-)

I think there should be an On-the-Road-with-Charles-Kuralt stop anywhere Althouse goes.

North Carolina awaits.

Oh Gedaliya was there. I should have come. It would have been nice to meet her in person.

It was great seeing the people from last time, and meeting the people who weren't there last time, and learning about how to tell what region your $5 bill is from.

Also, Palladian, I would like to see something in a floriental.

Did anyone drink a Nun's Oath Ale?

No, but I had ten pints of Guiness in about an hour and half if that counts.
