I hope Chuck's paycheck didn't bounce. Today is the day we found out that his favorite publication, kind of an off-stage character on this blog, The Bulwark, is a paid information operation.

Somebody should check on Bloomberg. They used to have a great morning show, even had a couple of guys who took Trump seriously and discussed his actions seriously, which I took came from the fact that people watched the network to inform business decisions, and they had better hew pretty close to the truth, then one day, they replace these guys with a woman who knows even less than I do about finance and the stock market, but has DNC talking points down to a science. Given that the NYT suddenly under Joe Biden began to receive millions from the government, it would be interesting to see if Bloomberg also was paid to put that DNC shill on their morning news broadcast.

This reporter Garrett Haake (NBC/MSLSD), who asked a dipshit question in the WH press room today, is adept at making faces and acting out. He was sitting next to Fox’s Peter Doocy, sneaking looks at Doocy’s notes when he wasn’t rolling his eyes and acting pissy.

He’s as ethical as a piece of schiff can muster.

Rep Al Green already bringing Articles of Impeachment. I love this paragraph from the announcement (emphasis mine):
“The people have got to move forward,” Green continued. “The people have to demand it. And when the people demand it, it will be done. I did it before — I laid the foundation for impeachment — and it was done. Nobody knows more about it than I, and I know that it’s time for us to lay the foundation again. On some issues, it is better to stand alone than not stand at all. On this issue, I stand alone but I stand for justice.”

I guess the people are not demanding it. Or to quote Althouse, “ I think a lot of people who are just keeping quiet actually like what Trump is doing. ”

HUMPTY DUMPTY SHOW you know bad guys already got the info by now..The New York Times is reporting that the Central Intelligence Agency, complying with Trump’s attempts to purge the federal government, sent his administration an unclassified email containing a list of every single person the CIA had hired over the past two years. Security experts everywhere are alarmed at the news, as many of those named closely monitor U.S. adversaries like Russia and China—and could soon become targets because of it.
The list, which was sent to the White House’s Office of Management and Budget, contained names of operatives whose identities are typically guarded. It’s not clear how many names were in the email.
Exposing the identities of officials who do extremely sensitive work would put a direct target on their backs for China,” Democratic Senator Mark Warner wrote on X. “A disastrous national security development.”
A former CIA officer described the email as a “counterintelligence disaster.” This comes as Trump offered CIA employees an unauthorized “buyout” in return for their resignations. The Kings Court is a perfect reflection of the King and his ignorance...China and the other international perps say give us more!

Here are a couple I wish Team DJT would try to make happen:

1. USA Soverign Wealth Fund - Have the funding come entirely from USA billioniares and individuals worth 100 million or more.
2. Ask the same #1 group above in USA and the world to fund the redevelopment of Club GAZA.
3. Raise marginal tax rates on MFJ with taxable income above 400k.

There are many, many more out there.

Cheers all.

I see that USAID paid Politico $35mm, that is old news, a few hours old already. It has also been noted that Politico was the one that published the leak of the Dobbs SCOTUS decision. So we see that the US Government is paying Politico to leak its own SCOTUS decision. Why didn’t they just leak it themselves and save the money?

The answer is, that by laundering the money through NGOs and having Politico leak it, it suddenly becomes legal. So if the government wants to violate the first amendment, they pay Facebook to censor speech. Then we read the famous lines “A private company can censor anybody they want.”

A step ahead President Donald Trump and his supporters should be careful what they wish for when it comes to Canada.
Trump ― who ignited, then paused, a tariff war with Canada ― has been taunting the nation’s northern neighbor and steadfast ally for months. He’s repeatedly said it should be America’s 51st state, and mocked Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as its “governor.”
“Republicans seem to be rooting for this because they’re now just a party of snickering trolls,” Kimmel said. “But let’s just imagine for a second that somehow they do make this happen and Canada does become a state. Do they think it would be a red state?”
Canada, he noted, has a population of about 41 million, a little more than California, which has 54 electoral votes.
“If Canada also had 54 electoral votes, forget MAGA,” he said. “Our next president will be a kind-hearted lesbian moose.” DO IT BABY EH!

Sometimes I wonder, what exactly is accomplished by all this spying. I am sure that policy-makers like to ask questions, and other people like to get paid to find out (or invent) the answers. But what does it all really accomplish? In the 1950's, during the Cold War, the US mounted a huge operation to tunnel into East Germany and tap the phone lines. It later turned out that a British double agent had told the Soviets about it before it even started. They decided it was more important to protect their double agent than to eliminate the wiretap. No doubt we collected loads of valuable data, but it doesn't seem to have had much effect. The Cold War lasted another thirty years.

Yeah. Did you know, that under Obama, the OPM server was hacked, and the Chikes stole the 100+-page applications of everyone who had ever applied for a US security clearance? Yeah. My theory, is that the only reason the morons at OPM found out is because the Mossad didn't like having the Chikes know everything they know, so they left some obvious clues lying around, that even the OPM could find.

My favorite moment so far - anyhow for the last 24 hours - was watching the bureaucrats turn out to demonstrate outside AID. It was so clear that they had no intention of doing anything, they hardly were willing to hold up signs. I guess they knew the attitude that would be taken about any kind of an insurrection. Sure you'll get a pardon. After JD Vance leaves office. If the Dems have reformed enough to win an election. Which is something which is not in their plans at the moment.
I grew up outside DC and I know those are real people wondering all of a sudden about their future. But they were pretty callous and brutal about the J6ers, about the military kicking out people for refusing Covid shots, about Riley Gaines and all the women deprived of a chance to win athletic college scholarships by masquerading men, about all the people whose small businesses were destroyed by Cod lockdowns, about all the Jews being insulted on campus, about the attempts on Trump, and Steve Scalisi, about Rand Paul's pain after the attack on him. And there's more. It's long list and all those people won't be win back by wild statements about how Trump wants to be a dictator. Because that kind of statement says very clearly that the Dems intend to go on harming with a side of indifference.

Big Mike said...

@wildswsn, everything in your comment is correct, but let’s not forget the “better luck next time” attitude after Trump missed being assassinated by millimeters. The left tried to murder him at least twice, so whining that he’s trying to be a dictator for busting up a few of their graft schemes, well, I cannot get too worked up over it.

Two lawsuits filed yesterday by FBI agents against Trumps efforts to fire all agents who participated in the investigation and arrest of Jan 6 rioters may be better vehicles both legally and in generating stories that might lead to pushback from Republicans. The first represents nine Jane and John Doe FBI personnel, fashions itself as a class action, and demands a jury trial; It makes claims under the First Amendment, Fifth Amendment (and Fifth Amendment Privacy), and Privacy Act. The second represents seven Jane and John Doe FBI personnel, and the FBI Agent’s Association, which represents most active duty Agents.

I had to read that tabloid rag, The Sun, to find out that hundreds of women and 28 of their children were brutally raped and then locked alive in a building and burned to death in Congo yesterday. No mention in the New York Times. I guess the women weren't transgender. Or Muslim. Or gay. Or Jewish. Or homeless. Or illegals. They were black, but so were their attackers, and that's not news, right?

This is what happens when the media, international aid, and diplomacy organizations adopt the sick perversions of the hate crime industry. Do whatever you want to however many women you want, and as long as they don't also belong to some other protected group, it's not hate.

Or news. To give credit where credit is due, the feminist Eve Ensler and a few other feminists are speaking out and raising funds. Good on them. But they took away their own voices as efficiently as the Ellen James Society by going along with the hate crime industry's sick and secret, extra-legal bureaucratic elimination of women from the "sex" category of hate crimes and international genocide definitions in the first place.

Where is the Times' last real journalist, Jeffrey Gettleman? Or have they cancelled him too?

I highly recommend both Theodore Dalrymple's essay collections, which might be called sociological, but also the books he wrote as a very young man and doctor travelling South America and Africa. Like Hanson, his early life experiences battle with his political sympathies, and what emerges decades later is perhaps too on the nose to say over and over.
