"In the deranged writings, he gleefully fantasizes about 'being that scary horrible monster standing over those powerless kids'.... 'I am feeling good about Annunciation. It seems like a good combo of easy attack form and devastating tragedy and I want to do more research. I have concerns about finding a large enough group. I want to avoid any parents, but pre and post school drop off,' another page reads. 'Maybe I could attack an event at the on-site church.... I think attacking a large group of kids coming in from recess is my best plan … Then from there I can go inside and kill, going for as long as I can.' Near the end of the video, Westman flicks through a number of blank pages before reaching what appears to be a drawing showing the inside of a church, saying 'Haha, nice'... stops turning pages... takes out a knife and stabs into the center of the sketch... withdraws the blade, and quietly mumbles, 'kill myself.'"

That this guy tried trans doesn't necessarily mean he was genuinely a guy who felt he was a doll, it may just have been a skin suit he was trying on for size.

Aggie said...: It's almost like you start with a vulnerable teenager, going through the usual teen peer pressure and 'rampaging hormones' phases of growth, add some untreated mental illness of gender dysphoria, amplify it with societal approval and encouragement for 'all things trans', and then really ramp it up with a whole new set of hormonal treatments to really scramble the eggs. Effective immediately we need to make it impossible for any individual that identifies as trans to legally purchase or own firearms. Secondly we must create exclusion zones around school and churches so that individuals who identify as trans are prohibited from coming within 400 meters (a quarter mile) of the school or church. Prevention is the only option, since the threat of punishment won’t work. Note that this Westman f***er killed himself and the one down in Nashville engaged two armed, Kevlar vest-wearing police officers, which is the same thing.

"Untreated mental illness," yes. "Gender dysphoria" is just flavor of the month - and an easy way for a genuinely crazy, often young person to hide in plain sight.

I can't figure out if this person is a natal male or natal female - I think female? Which leads to questions about the role of fricking testosterone flooding a body designed to take it only in small doses.

If natal male, we've got just plain crazy.

The larger situation for society is the kids undergoing ordinary adolescent mood swings who are (1) medicated for anxiety, depression, or whatever, so that they're even more off balance, (2) convinced that their normal sexual-emotional development, which includes all sorts of feelings they've never had before about their bodies and other people's bodies, is actually a symptom of what used to be called gender dysphoria but is now called "being trans," (3) love-bombing the new trans person, and (4) making their transition permanent and continuing to tell them they're finally good and correct, so that Those Who Went Before don't have to acknowledge their own regrets. We know that at least 80% of these kids grow out of their "gender dysphoria" if left alone (and I'd put money on that percentage being much higher if it weren't for the fact that no one leaves these kids alone any more). These kids are not crazy and won't become spree killers (unless the whole testosterone overdose acts on them in a truly terrible way, if they're FTM). They just need to grow up.
