‘Shut it down’: Bombshell FBI timeline exposes political interference in Clinton corruption probe

Pretty much as you'd expect. Andrew McCabe forbid virtually all investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Sally Yates played a prominent, obstructive role.

"Paul Abbate, then the assistant director in charge of the Washington Field Office, described McCabe as "negative," "annoyed," and "angry" about the Clinton Foundation cases, with McCabe saying that "they [the DOJ] say there's nothing here" and with McCabe asking "why are we even doing this?""

Reminder, there was a concerted effort at all levels of the government to undermine Trump at every turn during his first term. Life long Republicans like Comey, simply ignored evidence that Russiagate was made up by the Hillary campaign, for one thing.

Not only that, but she lied on her campaign disclosure, and called the expenses she paid to the firm that made up the lies "legal expenses" instead of campaign expenses. Had Trump done something like that, he would have faced jail time, Hillary? She gets a nominal fine.

Jaq said...

The Mueller investigation went on for two years, despite the written evidence that we now have that the CIA knew that Russiagate was a Hillary campaign op within a day of learning about it.

We need better trolls. Why don't they find evidence to refute the points we make instead of just calling us names?

Trump has been plunging the bowels of the Democratic estate residuals from the Obama/Biden/Clinton administration. It seems that the government has now removed the "burdens" propelling progress and obstructing the health of State, and the kings and queens in the judiciary are selfie-identifying.

So Pam Bondi fired the International Affairs Specialist who thought it was a good idea to throw an Italian hogie sandwich at an FBI officer in DC today.

The most intersting part of all this is that the man - named by the NY Post as Sean Charles Dunn, 37 - isn't even a lawyer.

He has no law degree. And yet he falsely claims he is a trial attorney in his LinkedIn profile.

There's no evidence he's ever even been to law school. He's a graduate of some no-name retard school in Harrisonburg.

He is gay though. Which seems to guarantee employment of dubious nature in our nation's capital.

He will now fight his firing and win, defeating the US Department of Justice because all the judges that decide this stuff in DC are also in the gay community. That will look very good on his resume.

He also purchased that sandwich at Subway, so because there's so little actual food in that sandwich, he wasn't charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Who the fuck is still eating at Subway besides this guy and noted French actor Juicy Smollet?

Putin is making a huge fool out of Trump, playing him like a fiddle…

“”Putin’s visit to the U.S.A. means the total collapse of the whole concept of isolating Russia. Total collapse,” Kremlin-controlled television crowed after news of the hastily arranged summit broke last weekend.

For Russia, “this is a breakthrough even if they don’t agree on much,” said Sergei Mikheyev, a pro-war Russian political scientist who is a mainstay of state television.

The deadline passed with no pause in the war — the fighting has in fact intensified as Russia pushes forward with a summer offensive — and no new economic penalties on Russia.

“Instead of getting hit with sanctions, Putin got a summit,” said Ryhor Nizhnikau, a Russia expert and senior researcher at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs. “This is a tremendous victory for Putin no matter what the result of the summit.””

Wasn’t Trump sworn in to the presidency in 2017?

2016 comes before 2017-2021. The article briefly mentions Trump DOJ inaction.

Original Mike said...

"Wasn’t Trump sworn in to the presidency in 2017?"

Yes, and McCabe's shutdown of any investigation into Hillary's email server and the related Clinton Foundation pay-to-play activities occurred in 2016.

To be fair, the left doesn't have much to work with but lies. The truth sure doesn't help them much.

Half the reason for Crossfire Hurricane scam itself was to paralyze the legal arm of the Trump administration. Inter alia, it got AG Sessions to recuse himself and cede control of the DOJ within this sphere.

Hell, more than half. I'd say the whole thing. They knew in the summer of 2016 the Russian collusion charge was a hoax, but they extended it to tie his hands, and possibly enable an indictment for obstruction.

I still think if they hadn’t done of this and Trump won AND Pelosi had gone to him to make deals, he possibly would have gone the Schwarzenegger route. What were they so afraid of?

Eva Marie said...

The second and third time they had legitimate worries but the first election could have gone very diffently for the Democrats.

Original Mike said...

Your question implies they actually care about policy. They don't.

But they would have maintained their power as well

Iman said...

The “legitimate worry” is the existential threat Democrats pose to America because they will stop at NOTHING to regain their control of and access to the U.S. Treasury.

The only thing I can think of is that our government was so infiltrated with China sympathizers and agents that the backing away from China was the catalyst for a lot of this.

Democrats would be crazy to reject Trump’s DACA deal

It was a real eye opener for me when the dems rejected this out of hand. They seek power, and extension of their political careers. Nothing more.

The first thing that came from Crossfire Hurricane was the elimination of Gen. Michael Flynn, who was intimately familiar with the Intelligence Community and its bad habits, and knew how to find out stuff. He had to go. You notice that our Director of National Intelligence, Ms. Gabbard, has been rather busy? And the second prong of this coup offensive was to make sure the DOJ was on opposition footing from Day 1, all the way through. Between Justice and Intelligence, the Deep State figured they had Trump cornered, but as the old marine saying goes, 'I'm surrounded - I've got them right where I want them'.

Social Security's estimated 2026 cost-of-living adjustment rises amid inflation uptick
The projection for Social Security's annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for next year is getting higher, according to a new report.
The Senior Citizens League on Tuesday released an update that showed its model now forecasts the 2026 COLA will be 2.7% as of July – an increase from its previous estimates of 2.5% in May and 2.6% in June.
The uptick comes as inflation has trended higher in recent months. Social Security's COLA is used to adjust the amounts paid to beneficiaries to account for inflation pushing prices higher, and the COLA for 2025 was 2.5% and took effect at the start of the year.
The Senior Citizens League noted that its estimate may continue to evolve in the next few months ahead of the Social Security Administration's official announcement in October, as more inflation data is incorporated into the model. Keep it up Don we knew we could count on your nonsense to fuk things up..Dont forget drop it bck in late November and all will be well.

In the movie Black Bag ***spoiler alert*** the agents stop a plot BUT it’s a plot their agency created. And here so much effort was spent covering actions - that if they hadn’t done them in the first place - they would have been in a much better position to deal with Trump.

Is it true that the sub-checker "falsely claims he is a trial attorney in his LinkedIn profile"? I've already noted in a previous thread that there are numerous Twitter reports that there are (or were) two Sean Dunns at DOJ, one a lawyer on LinkedIn, the other this guy. You need to make sure you have the right guy before accusing him of anything.

I understand that part. Once he was elected they had to cover up their reelection actions. It’s those pre-election actions that I don’t understand.

On May 20, 2022 — a year after John Durham had obtained evidence showing that the draft Soviet Intelligence (SVR) report that he always claimed was the basis of his investigation was based on “composite” emails, and as such, proof that the SVR was framing Hillary Clinton — his lead prosecutor, Andrew DeFilippis, openly defied a judge’s order. DeFilippis instructed Hillary Clinton’s former campaign manager, Robby Mook, to read a quote from Jake Sullivan about the Alfa Bank anomalies saying, “This secret hotline may be the key to unlocking the mystery of Trump’s ties to Russia. It certainly seems the Trump Organization felt it had something to hide, given that it took steps to conceal the link when journalists discovered it.”

The inclusion of the Tweet as trial evidence immediately created a firestorm among credulous journalists, leading right-wingers, including Elon Musk, to claim this was proof of “an elaborate hoax about Trump and Russia.”

What should have been the two final interviews on Durham’s Clinton conspiracy conspiracy theory investigation — the July 21 interview in which Julianne Smith disclaimed any knowledge of the Clinton plan and a July 8 2021 grand jury appearance where Pete Strzok denied receiving a referral mentioning it — happened almost five years after the events in question. The clock on any 5-year statue of limitations was ticking and Trump-appointed special counsel Durham pivoted by bailing by using unprovable charges against Sussmann and Danchenko despite twisting his supposed facts but he had to lose.

Now Tulsi and Kash are playng more of retailiation games.

gadfly said...

Um, "retaliation" is the correct spelling.

I’m surprised. Not one of the usual posters here who oppose Mr. Trump has brought this up.

Jared Lane Wise was at the Capitol on Jan. 6 shouting “Kill ’em!” at police during the violent Lower West Terrace tunnel assault, got pardoned, and is now a senior adviser in the DOJ’s Weaponization Working Group.

Sean Charles Dunn, while also hurling invective, tossed a sandwich at an agent in D.C., got fired on the spot, and is facing a felony.

Surprised. I mean with both of these gentlemen being DOJ employees.

gadfly said...

A man named Sean Charles Dunn was arrested, charged with assault and was fired from his job at DOJ following a viral incident in which he threw a sandwich at a federal officer while shouting “Fuck you! You fucking fascists! Why are you here? I don’t want you in my city!”

Sandwich throwing is insulting at worst, but unlikely an assault and First Amendment rights are no longer granted. The type of sandwich wasn't specified but PB&J might be harmful if it gooped up on someone allergic to peanut butter,

Keldonric said...

Schoolkids today will never know the pleasure of peanut butter squares dusted with confectioners’ sugar.
