Yes, the Morgan Wallen people were out in abundance yesterday, and there's a second concert tonight. This is my neighborhood, where I remember, long ago, listening to Pink Floyd wafting over from Camp Randall.
I hadn't realized it's been 28 years since there's been a concert in the football stadium. Nice. The crowd seems to have included lots of people from out of town. So many women in short shorts and cowboy boots. We talked to a couple who'd come in from Iowa for the big concert. Me, I'd never heard of Morgan Wallen, but what do I know? I found out he's the biggest star. I hope he and everyone else enjoy Madison.
If you watch the video, keep an eye out for the children selling lemonade. The reporter asks each of them what they'll do with the money, and you may be surprised at what they say.

I guessed they’d say they were donating it to ActBlue or that Zohan guy’s campaign. Yep, I was surprised…
The kids today are conservative; even in Madison!

We need a pill for that.
Capitalism (i.e. retained earnings, savings) works. Forward thinking.
Pink Floyd played there July 3rd 1994 according to the internet.
Conservativism (i.e. moderation) perchance Pro-Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. All-American. Good character.
"So many women in short shorts and cowboy boots."
Be still my beating heart!
Disappointed in the video. We were promised short-shorts, and all we got was long-shorts.
Women in shorts, dresses, too? The privilege of feminine aesthetics.
Must be nice to live in a high-social-trust community. Too bad Madison votes to impose the opposite on where I live.
The kids are just giving the "approved" answers. Theyre
really going to spend it on hookers and coke.
I never heard of the guy. Wikipedia shows that he was the guy they tried to cancel because he was heard uttering the word that cannot be said. It seems he is a bit of a hell raiser.
I listened to some of his music which falls squarely in the Kenny McGraw/Tug Chesney space - That apparently is a good place to be in.
He headlined the Sand n Boots festival here in Gulf Shores. It was AMAZING. 60,000 rednecks and redneck wannabe’s from all over the world. Not coincidentally the absolute best behaved huge crowd I’ve ever seen. Here it was shorts, sun dresses, Bikinis and boots. I do a little uber when I get bored and I was all in to the tune of about $600.00 a day of doing nothing but picking up beautiful girls from all over the world (2 different pairs from Australia, both for whom Alan Jackson is the man) and running them down to the gate. The day before he played I took one of his roadies to a golf course. Morgan pays more than double and flies those guys everywhere. I blasted those kids with non-stop Gram all week. It was glorious.

Not any less than me. I've never heard of Cold Play, either.
$100? Good grief. I had season football tickets for years. Even with a sold-out stadium, the distance to free parking on the street is very walkable.

In this area, there are Mexican street corner and parking lot vendors selling fruit. Buying strawberries from a mom and her 5/6 year old boy, told the boy to keep the change and asked what he would do with his money.
Proudly stated " I am saving to buy a cow".

Watching tv with closed captions, many times singer of background music is identified . Assumed it was promotion for new talent until realizing how ignorant I am of current popular artists.
Women in short shorts and cowboy boots was my personal observation. Sorry it isn’t in the video. it was hot out and people were far from the stadium and had to walk over a mile so I didn’t think they could be too comfortable in those boots. I was surprised to see the shorts that have part of the ass showing. I thought that went out a long time ago, but apparently it’s back.
In the video, the guy with the grey ball cap has an "affectation."
The children didn't surprise me at all, but, what do I know?

It’s not about comfort.
Those shorts are back, despite the fact that they look bad on most bodies.
I can't imagine walking a mile or more to a concert where you stand most of the time then back to the car is that comfortable in boots, but I guess thats a lesson to be learned. $15 Coors Light must help.

No kidding. I can always tell when my wife's employees are in the office that day. She comes home starting every sentence with it.
And I interrupt her. "Stop saying, 'like.'" Usually takes 15 minutes to rebreak the habit.
"Morganwallen" is "Hello" in Swedish.
The proper responses are "Frusen Glädjé" or "Häagen-Dazs."
Well I love Morgan Wallen and I’m 70 years old!
I'm waiting for this one.
"What are you going to do with the money?"
"Well. My dad said I could get anything I want so I'm saving up for my first AR15."
God bless you my child.
I also observed a lot of women (who I observed to far outnumber men) in cowboy boots.
Of course, if you go by the r/madisonwi subreddit, populated almost exclusively by very judgmental near-east siders (at least that's how it seems to me!), the concert goers were terrible terrible people because the artist is a horrible horrible person.
