Everyone's saying it, so it must (not) be true: "Constitutional Crisis."

Funny, but I don’t recall any of these progressive schleps crying about a “constitutional crisis” when Dementia Joe Biden thumbed his nose at the courts over student debt forgiveness or his continuing the buggering of landlords and rent forgiveness during the bat flu.

Peachy said...

"The GAO — under Biden — estimated last year that we are losing $233-$521 billion *PER YEAR* to FRAUD."

The real Constitutional crisis IS the fraud itself - and those protecting the fraud.

3 weeks in - and we are back to the Soviet lock step regurgitated talking points from the Soviet-Democratic Media machine.

Mike (MJB Wolf) said...

Listening to them squeal tells you we are on the right track. Go DOGE go!

Hassayamper said...

Longstanding traditions and conventions and wink-&-nudge backscratching are not in any way constitutional.

We elected Trump to smash them to splinters, with the plenary executive powers granted him by Article II.

If Jen Psaki says something it must be false. Basically 100% of the time. There are liars, dirty liars, smooth liars, and Bill Clinton. She learned from them all.

Jupiter said...

So, the two or three people running the MSM resolved their differences, about how to handle DJT. They probably have another assassination attempt coming up, but in the meantime, their lying liars are all telling the same lie. It isn't possible to hate them enough.

Jaq said...

Now people with access to the JFK files are saying that they point to two shooters. There was a constitutional crisis, right there. Nope, actually not, it worked smoothly to put the guy behind the assassination into the presidency.

Randomizer said...

I suspect they stopped talking about "Saving Democracy", because they obviously meant, "Saving Bureaucracy".

If progressive judges continue to block actions that seem to be obviously constitutional and that everyone likes, Trump will respond.

Will he encourage impeachment actions against the judges or blow past the injunction?

Here is Elon Musk:
""We find it sort of rather odd that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who who have a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars, but somehow manage to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth."

"We're just curious as to where it came from..."

Probably they were really good at trading cattle futures based on their daily perusal of the WSJ!

This is the "crisis."

This is a hill to die on for the Trump presidency, even if he fails, he will be a hero to me.

RCOCEAN II said...

In case you've forgotten we were in a "constitutional crisis" in May 2019, when several members of Trump administration refused - for a while - to appear before Congress.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Thursday that she agrees with a veteran Democratic lawmaker that the country has now entered a "constitutional crisis" — but said she still wants her party to be “methodical” in their investigations of President Donald Trump, rather than rush to launch the impeachment process."

RCOCEAN II said...

Democrats not liking what Trump does = Constitutional Crisis

Gusty Winds said...

It would be nice to find the centralized propaganda point for the media and Democrat repetition. What is amazing is that even with these repetition montages, that make them look stupid, programmed, and braindead, they still go along a clap like seals. The payoff and corruption must be deep to sell themselves out like this.

Peachy said...

The level of Panic on the Corrupt Democratic side - is something to behold.

Jaq said...

And the guy who covered up the JFK assassination also became President, and had a super carrier named after him.

—"What a country!"

RCOCEAN II said...

If twitter is to be believed, several of the Leftwing judges blocking USAID actions have spouses recieving money from USAID. No recusal of course. Only Dumb Republican Judges do that.

Same with AG's. Sessions is still patting himself on the back for Recusing himself in April 2017 and starting Russiagate. Garland considered himself Biden's "Wingman".

Iman said...

If Trump, Musk and team fail, this country will along with it.

RCOCEAN II said...

The liberals/Left are interested in gaining power and using it. They don't care about "looking bad" or "Being dumb". You may laugh, but so what? Were you going to vote for them?

Gusty Winds said...

Musk's purchase of Twitter and turning it into X has changed everything. There is now a central location where Democrat and liberal media propaganda get be easily exposed and broadcast. Somehow these morons still believe the are relevant.

Jaq said...

A real live constitutional crisis is when partisan local prosecutors can take advantage of the uniform partisan leanings of the jury pool to convict a President, under laws never before used in this way, of local crimes cooked up through invidious readings of the law, or when a judge takes it upon himself to overrule professional opinion and standard business practices regarding loan applications, but only for one specific person from the other political party who happens to win elections.

That is an honest to goodness constitutional crisis, and a lesser man that Donald Trump would probably have fallen prey to it.

Jaq said...

I will not be surprised if, probably when, it turns out that the Drudge Report was bought with USAID money.

Peachy said...

4 years of ruinous lies, illegals, waste and fraud - and Trump didn't lower inflation yet!
also the left - 'how dare you touch our gravy train money-whore fraud.'

@Gusty Winds: What is amazing is that even with these repetition montages, that make them look stupid, programmed, and braindead, they still go along a clap like seals. The payoff and corruption must be deep to sell themselves out like this.

Half is corruption, while the other half follows from in-the-bubble education and being told nothing but urban, left, academic quasi-religious propaganda your entire life. Impressionable and dependent young adults suck down generous compassion talk and then get preachy about right-vs.-wrong, justice, and equity. They become strident know-it-alls until they face a serious challenger or investigate the gray nuances.

Some do drift away over time -- a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged (by a corrupt Party).

Democrats have always been good at sharing their talking points and their tiny brains don't let them question those talking points as they dutifully repeat them ad nauseum.

Unfortunately, their talking points are usually quite inaccurate and designed to mislead those who hear them and aren't paying attention.

There is a mini constitutional crisis at the moment, but it is caused by activist judges declaring themselves to be cabinet secretaries. These unlawful will all be overturned as they are blatantly unconstitutional rulings and the crisis will be averted.

planetgeo said...

Constitutional crisis: assorted district judges taking over Article 2 of the constitution and relegating the President to an errand boy with precise instructions on what he can and can't do with the agencies of the executive branch.

Gusty Winds said...

You have to wonder if University Professors and baseline liberal educators are feeling their credibility being flushed down the toilet with the repetitive stupidity. If you worked you whole life to get a Phd, make it in academia, wouldn't you be a little pissed? But, perhaps there is no success in academia without the Democrat grift machine. For self-preservation going along with this bullshit is probably a matter of survival. Also a desperate means to avoid exposure and prosecution.

""We find it sort of rather odd that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who who have a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars, but somehow manage to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth." says Elon.

Didn't the previous administration appoint something like 70,000+ new IRS agents, some of them trained in SWAT tactics and fully armed? It sounds like they might be given a new kind of mission, doesn't it?

Weaponizing the IRS? Why..... no. Just using the standard time-honored tactics. Like when Matt Taibbi got a visit on the same day he was scheduled to testify in front of Congress. Yessssss. Marching orders, please.

Look at the bright side. Well at least the crisis is constitutional.

LOL reminds of the word gravitas being use to describe Cheney years ago by all the news. With new social media more people are seeing it is all propaganda and BS when they are all on the same talking point.

Now you know why they were panicked when Trump threatened to withhold payment to Ukraine in his first term. They needed to sensitize him to messing with ANY government payments.

Lem Vibe Bandit said...

So Biden not enforcing, actually undermining immigration laws, was not a “constitutional crisis”. Noted.

Lem Vibe Bandit said...

Repeated Attempts to put a political rival in prison? Not a constitutional crisis.

tommyesq said...

The Constitutional crisis does not arise if/when Trump defies the court's order, it already arose when the judiciary decided it wanted to make executive rather than judicial decisions.

tim maguire said...

Yes, of course. Having the country run by a shadowy cabal because the president is a dementia-addled old fool, that’s not a constitutional crisis, but auditing the books to eliminate fraud and waste is.

A constitutional crisis, then, is when Republicans actually do something and Democrats and the media howl about it. Usually, Republicans don't do much or push very far, and when Democrats do something outrageous, Republicans don't howl loud enough about it, or the media chooses not to notice their almost inaudible howl.

P.S. Mitch McConnell voted against Gabbard. Now that he's not the leader, he's gone over to the other side. I guess the Senate Whip is afraid to whip the old turtle.

Enigma said...

@Lazarus: I've interpreted the McConnell "no" votes as a symbolic nod to the never-Trump Republicans. He's saying that "Yes, we object to a lot of Trump's actions." If there was any true doubt about a nominee passing the vote, McConnell would vote yes. See the 2021-2023 period when Manchin and Sinema routinely held up the senate when the Dems didn't want to "actually" pass some silly woke bill.

It didn't go well for the Democrats.. (i'm talking about the 1860s)

Riiiiiight....Johnson was able to step into the Presidency without a single person privy to the conspiracy ratting him out----even after he died.

And never mind that such a person would make BIG MONEY for revealing such a vast conspiracy.

Why not tell us who the "people with access" are?

Finally, why wouldn't Johnson and his cronies have scrubbed the files of all documents that would incriminate him?
