Adam Carolla notices that the liberals who supported the BLM riots are now getting a taste of their own medicine as their homes are being looted:
Adam Carolla: "So the National Guard has pulled in because there's been lots of stories about lots of looting, because we live in Sodom and Gomorrah times here in Los Angeles.
So we've called the National Guard and the fine people of Santa monica and Malibu and the Palisades are very happy that the National Guard is now here protecting their homes and their valuables and their property and stopping arsonists who are copycat arsonists, who are starting and trying to light more fires and being successful.
But when BLM was burning everything to the fucking ground in Seattle and in Chicago and in Portland, you post these were against the National Guard being called in because it wasn't your shit that was on fire and it wasn't your store that was being looted and it wasn't your house that was being looted.
That was somebody else's. So during the entire BLM riots, when everything was being burned to the ground, well, those were just business owners who may have lived in the Portland area so they can fuck off because you're too busy virtue signaling and taking a stand.
And God forbid Trump suggest that the National Guard be called in to these cities, you are dead set against it.
Citizens of Santa monica, because you're so much better than we are. But now that it's your shit that's getting looted. Well, now you're happy to see the boys in uniforms that are cordoned off your neighborhood with your precious shit in it that you don't want to see stolen or burned to the ground. You didn't give a fuck when this was going on.
In every blue city in the United States, you were all against it. Well, now it's your city and you love it. So think about that. Fuckin hypocrites."

The same people who chanted 'Defund the police' to cheer on looters, are now begging for the police to protect their homes from looters.

The Pardons are coming. Will Biden even know who he pardoned? Has the NY Times readied their insider story on the extensive legal vetting of all these pardons, the white house staff's deep legal reasoning, and Biden's keen philosophical and moral struggles over it?

Boy, I sure wish we lived in the America that Biden is describing in his farewell address. Just leave, Joe. In the name of God, go!

WASHINGTON, Jan 15 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump both claimed credit on Wednesday for a Gaza ceasefire-for-hostages deal that was months in the making but was helped across the line by a Trump envoy.
In announcing the ceasefire, Biden noted the final deal largely mirrored the framework of a proposal he made back in May.

In other words, the deal has been on the table since May, and Bibi wouldn't accept it, until Trump showed up and read him the riot act.

Joe Biden went to negotiate a Status of Forces deal in Iraq, he got no deal, but he did get a $2 billion contract for his brother James to rebuild the housing that Joe voted to bomb, James had no previous experience in doing this, but it probably cost way less than $2 billion to bring in competent people to do the work.

Joe Biden went to China to negotiate with China over the Spratley Islands, he came back with no deal, but he did manage to secure $2 billion ChiCom dollars to set up his son's brand new hedge fund.

Joe is no closer, unless it benefits him personally.

As a born and raised Texan who later moved to Michigan, I greatly prefer the depths of winter to the swampyhot summers of my youth. But man these last few days have tested that preference. It's freaking cold out.

Also, this is so juvenile, yet so hilarious.

Senator Reed: "Would you explain what a 'jagoff' is?"

I haven't watched Bondi's confirmation yet, but I expect the same dumb bullshit.

Again with Twitter or X. Pam Bondi the nominee for AG, is 60???? good Lord, she looks 40.
Seems 'sharp as a tack' Joe, in his fantasy based final address, said out loud, 'end of quote'. Glad that venial , corrupt degenerate is leaving soon. They will stash him in a room somewhere. Meanwhile, DJT, in a post I read on Twitter, says he is bring in many new people to help with the next 4 years. Then he pointed out he would NOT want anyone who worked for, or had anything to do with Charles Koch
- John Bolton
- Nikki Haley
- Mike Pence
- The Cheneys
- Mitt Romney
- Paul Ryan
- Mark Milley
- James Mattis
- or Mark Esper.
Maybe things will be different this time.

Jen Rubin is 62 and looks 104. It all evens out.

There are still liberals on X who haven't migrated to Bluesky. And they're posting how Democrat senators are making mincemeat of Trump's nominee's. Almost as if they are, in the words of a famous cartoonist, living in another movie from the rest of us.

@Jimmy, Wikipedia says Pam Bondi was born in November 1965, so she’s only 59.

A mildly strange thing happened to me today. In the co-op complex where I live, our mailboxes our opened electronically by a small digital key. I've been having a problem with mine for a few months - it never opens on the first swipe, I need to do it multiple times before it opens. I've sent emails to the co-op board about this and the head of the board wanted to come and see what the problem was. When he did come to see, the mailbox opened without a problem on the first try, multiple times, something it hasn't done in many months.

What was strange to me is that I've been thinking about quantum mechanics lately, trying to wrap my head around the concept of how observing a situation can effect it's outcome. For some reason I was worried that my mailbox would open without a problem when the head of the co-op board came making me look foolish. Luckily he just laughed and said my mailbox was opening without a problem because he came to look at and didn't doubt my complaint. I know this was just a coindence and the opening of my mailbox is not a wave function, but it still struck me as odd.
