I think it was in The American Spectator that I read 40-50 years ago about someone going to a Satanist wedding in his youth ("Hey, it was the 'sixties!"). When the congregation raised their hands with first and fourth fingers extended and solemnly intoned "Hail Satan!", he whispered, loud enough for everyone to hear him, "Hook 'em Horns, Texas number one!". It caused great offense, but it was exactly the same gesture.

It would be equally stupid to claim that the symbol on the Swiss flag is a plus sign, and represents Swiss bankers - maybe even Rothschilds or WEF members! - when it is in fact a Christian symbol, like the crosses on the flags of all five Nordic countries. Even though the symmetrical shape is actually more like a plus sign than most crosses, and Switzerland is better known today for its bankers than for devout Christians, it's still not true.

I can't say definitively no one ever shouted that or similar epithets, but...given the absence of reporting on it, I'd guess it didn't happen.
