Worst part about the Aurora, CO and Springfield, OH stories are that the residents are complaining, but both local gov't state publicly that the claims are exaggerated. I think the vegan advocacy group would get a lot of milage out of the pictures from the dog eating post. This picture won't generate sympathy, but the pictures from the site that tanks the dog eaters of the world, would gain some converts. Luckily for them, they wouldn't get arrested and jailed for their advocacy like the pro-life people would do trying to show the impacts of late term and post birth abortion activities.
Of course, showing a pack of dogs tearing the throat out of another animal and calling it natural might help people put it all in context...

Trump could make avoiding jail the centerpiece of his campaign. "If you want to live in a country where the leader of the opposition party gets put in prison, vote for Harris. If you don't want that, even if you don't particularly like me, you have to vote for me." Then follow that up with a pledge not to lock up Harris, Walz, Biden, or any other Dem leader.
He wouldn't be giving up much by such a pledge - even if he got past DOJ inertia, could he even get a true bill from a DC grand jury, let alone a conviction at trial? And he could gain a lot of undecideds.
He could have sprung this in the debate. Maybe he can do it in the third debate.

Ya know, speaking of yard signs, I live in probably the most liberal county in MD, and in the most liberal section of that liberal county. I have seen very few Harris/Walz signs. I mean, very few. A few Biden/Harris signs are still up, but not many of those either. The enthusiasm of the Bien-Pensant chattering classes for Kamala doesn't seem to be translating to the foot soldiers in the trenches. Needless to say, absolutely no Trump signs. A value judgement cannot be an indicative statement of fact but isn't that what that sign is trying to do? Becoming a vegan immediately is an urgent moral imperative. That's what the sign means, if it means anything. But why? Whose morality? Why is it urgent now? But the sign says - don't think, don't ask, it's a "moral urgency." What is a "moral urgency?" A moral emergency is going on and action is urgently required? A moral emergency creating moral urgency. Isn't that mixing indicative fact and moral judgement? When did hamburger become a moral urgency? Cows are being eaten as we speak at McDonald's and elsewhere - we must act now. Everyone must be a vegan - NOW; and act - NOW.
