You post them, so I look at them.

I'm left trying to decide which is poofier. Verdict: The second one...but I'm sure that the two salamander fans in the second one would just luuuv the first one.

I only watched the first one for now but it was delightful.

The first is an absolute labor of love, with a Ray Harryhausen-level attention to detail. The second is satire. I hope.

I want those two minutes back.

The first one is actually art. It reminded me of my favorites, Wallace & Gromit and The Wind In The willows series.

The Frog & Toad video gives the essence of stop motion animation without being animated at all. It's all very simple - little movements in each shot - that blends together to give a good deal of "action".

Anything done with stop-motion is always worthwhile.

adorable. I love the skinny crochet legs.

I'll admit it and even go on record...I thought it was adorable and endearing. Loved the combination of everyday old fashioned simplicity and yet such appealing attention to detail. Of course, that soundtrack makes most anything better.

I had a small rock filled terrarium in my college dorm room for a while, and told visiting girls that the salamanders living there were very shy and usually hid under rocks. Watching for salamander appearances together from the bed seemed a good idea to suggest. There were no salamanders, but anything that would keep the girls in the room longer seemed worth a try at the time.
