But, in a 340-page manuscript he subjects us to a 12-page explanation of the 'F' word that is totally useless to this story. He then spends another twelve pages discussing male homosexuals (queen and gay) and their disease (AIDS). Of all the hundreds of thousands of words in the OED surely there were more interesting examples, but maybe inclusion guaranteed publication.
