Because they are light, yet dense and compact, Ramen noodles are great to take camping. A few years ago while camping we found ourselves with extra bricks of Ramen noodles and we tried an experiment.
We through them in the campfire. (What can I say, its a guy thing.)
Anyway, they burn long and slow. On and on. I'm talking like: one of those Duraflame logs. I mean on and on. If Jack London's character in "To Build A Fire" had a few in the Yukon there he'd have been just fine. I think theres a commercial use for this somewhere.
