The Palau Güell is "a mansion designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí for the industrial tycoon Eusebi Güell... built between 1886 and 1888. It is situated on the Carrer Nou de la Rambla, in the El Raval neighborhood of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Works of Antoni Gaudí.'"

The black and white is very good.

Gaudi was a genius...

"Kill the Jews." It's all the rage, y'know.

I love Antoni Gaudí. For me, his architectural style is refreshing and an exquisite ode to nature and natural forms.

Ever hike around Fisher Towers in Utah? The Natural Structure of the rock formations, created after millions of years of erosion - remind me of Antoni Gaudi.

Gaudi

It's all nature, man.

The Jew hate? Jew hate is a disease. I hate Jew-haters.

Why did they write it in English? Who is the target audience?

I see the Moors have not yet left.

Who are these people?

Not a Gaudi fan.

Don't blame the Moors for this one, Temujin. It was their Catholic Majesties Ferdinand and Isabella who rid their realms of Jews in 1492 (though not by way of murder).

I'm going to tell on myself here. After visiting Barcelona and seeing Gaudi's work I looked up the entomology of the word gaudy to see if his name was the source. Its not, though in a better universe it would be. In my defense I'm not the first person to wonder about that.

I'm getting a MAD SPY vs SPY vibe from the first, black and white one.

Narr, I doubt a Christian painted that.

How many hundreds of Christian Churches have been burned by Moors in recent years, and congregations slaughtered by Muslims?

The Moors are back and murderous. Ferdinand and Isabella have been dead for 700 years. The Christians and Jews are the victims of Muslims again. Today only Christian nations stand between the Jews and the Muslims who want to commit genocide against them.

One thing changed in 700 years. The other didn't.

"I looked up the entomology of the word gaudy"

That bugged me too.

They didn't get their fill of killing Jews during the Inquisition?

Credit must be given to Mr. Gauthier and the Bernat family for preserving and restoring such a jewel. They are like modern day Renaissance Princes sponsoring art and beauty for our benefit and for generations to come If they had not done so. Casa Batllo might have become dreary offices, or torn down.

The Marqués de Comillas, a local boy that made a fortune in America and the Philippines, was a patron of Gaudí and, in Comillas, the Marques` hometown in Cantabria, northern Spain, he erected a small palace, the Capricho de Gaudí ( Gaudi´s whim) a very popular cultural visit specially in summer.

Gaudi’s masterpieces are a must see. Pictures are good but how it flows must be taken in person. Phenomenal and soothing to the soul. I understand Mr Gaunthier devotion. Words do not do Gaudi’s work justice.

OK, in the first one I guess I see a Trojan Warrior with big dick energy and a Cajun going fishing with a duPont spinner (dynamite), both of them drinking (First rule, don't use dynamite after you have been drinking.) You think that is weird? Well you are the one showing me the dirty pictures!

I remember when Meathead hated Archie Bunker because he used the word Hebes for Jews. Now Meathead probably wants Hamas to rape and kill Jews. I don't know, many Michigan Democrats do.

I didn't say a Christian wrote or painted it, Tina. There seem to be few of them around in many parts of Europe nowadays, and most likely it was written--if not by a new Moor--then by a secular Antisemite, native to the region.

The Jews expelled by the Catholic monarchs largely found refuge in Islamic areas, so yes, things change and roles reverse.

As an educated person, I stand by modern Christianity and Judaism and recognize their superiority to Islam. (Admittedly, better than Islam can be a low bar.)

I've seen online there are some people (including some dimwits who are liberal Jews) who are convinced that's absolutely no reason whatsoever for Jews to have their own country. No reason at all. And then you see appalling graffiti like this. Even Joe Biden recognized that without a nation of their own, the Jews can not guarantee their safety. He took a lot of flak for that comment.

I saw something else today on a well known, highly acclaimed Scottish fashion designer's Instagram page where she posted a snippet from the film "The Palestinian" By Vanessa Redgrave, 1977. The clip she chose to post was a very attractive looking Arab speaker who claimed that Zionism is a worse threat to the world than Nazism.

When people are so deranged and determined to justify their hatred by quoting lies there is nothing you can do about them but stay vigilent.

Vanessa Redgrave is a-hole. Always has been.

She's a Jane Fonda type.

Now I want a fruit cup. Just without the Jew hate. Jew hate makes fruit cups taste bitter.
Hope John is having a good time.

We were there in January. The neighborhood immediately adjacent is very Muslim. I was walking with my 2 sons (in their 20s); it was broad daylight but I would not have felt comfortable alone. Not the scariest neighborhood, just not the right place for a blond woman without an escort. So not at all surprised by the graffiti.

Palau Guell is amazing - but every Gaudi building in Barcelona is worth a visit. The Sagrada Familia is perfect.

We were in El Raval (at the delightful Casa Camper Hotel) in mid January. Saw just a few things "Palestinian." Nothing that was really horrible. There was a huge march but it was for health care workers. Amazing city.
