Man, Mitt Romney has to go down as one of the biggest fakes in History. Prentends to be a conservative Pro-lifer in 2008 and 2012, even attends CPAC and wins straw polls.

Now, that he's retiring, the mask is completely off. He's supporting liberal Democrat Senator K. Sinema (AZ) in her re-election bid. He even offered to campaign for her. This is the same Mittens who REFUSED to endorse Mike Lee, his fellow Republican Utah Senator in 2022.

THis fake pretended to be a trueblue Republican. Oh, sure he hated Trump, but that was supposedly just TRump. Now, its clear he's bascially a liberal/leftist who liked Low taxes and could only get elected as a Republican. Now, he can be himself. Which means endorsing liberal Democrats.

Flake was the same way. Ended up endorsing and campaigning for Biden in 2020 and will do so in 2024. Why we end up with these traitors and the D's never do, is beyond me.

Hillary Warns Of 2024 Election Interference

What does she know that the CIA and FBI don't and how does she know this?
Who are her sources?
Is she cooperating with the Feds to nip it in the bud?

Or is she just setting up Trump for more Russian collaboration investigations if he wins the election.

Tinfoil hat time: In the post we talked about the time when cellphones became the primary means of communications, an errand thought pass thru my head. It was around 2015 and the CDC brought into the country an Evola infected American from Africa in a private jet. Obama had to give the ok. I thought, omg, were they looking for an opportunity to implement emergency measures back then? Were they contemplating the extraordinary powers granted to them by an emergency?

A curious media would have answers.

Via X: New York City is gearing up to pay over $1,000,000,000 on just hotels over the next 3 years to house illegal immigrants.

....That’s what happens when you call yourself a “Sanctuary City.”

But that’s just the hotel costs. NYC Mayor Eric Adams estimates the total cost of the migrant crisis will be about $12B over the next 3 years.

“We are past our breaking point,” he said. “With more than 57,300 individuals currently in our care on an average night, it amounts to $9.8 million a day. Almost $300 million a month and nearly $3.6 billion a year.”

Residents in NYC have had enough. In the video below, Staten Island locals were arrested for blocking migrant buses.

In the Ukraine war we see a new strategy. Ever since World War I tanks have gone ahead of infantry to break the enemy trench line. But in the Ukraine small infantry companies are going ahead of the armor to break the Russian defense lines. I suppose maybe the guns in the Russian line are sited to destroy oncoming armor and tanks and, somehow, in a guns-of-Singapore effect they can't fire on what's not expected, namely, a small infantry company. Perhaps it moves differently, comes sideways. Anyhow by this means they've achieved a breakthrough against the Russian line though it doesn't look the way it was expected to look because of this new strategy. Moreover, the Russian generals have placed mines in convenient spots behind the Russian lines making a retreat by Russians as hard as an advance by Ukrainians.
I know the Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom, so cleverly and so bravely, just as we might soon have to. And so, for the Ukrainians sake, I wish that the people supplying them with the weapons they need were not the same ones trying to turn us into a banana republic. How has this happened?
I'd like a war that is not so compromised but we can only fight the war we've got, one battle for freedom with two fronts - in the Ukraine with the Democrats, at home against them. As for understanding it all right now, I can't be too demanding, I go with the Beatles "Let it be/Let it be/There will be an answer/Let it be."

So the health authorities are trying to figure out how to rebuild trust. I'm somewhat surprised that surrounded by sycophants as they are, living in a bubble, they realized that trust in their pronouncements has been lost.

I'm 68. Used to truest them. Used to trust them. Used to listen to what they had to say and followed their advice.

Then- the internet happened and that trust started to erode. Another name foe that would be the information explosion- and it has changed to world. Of course, the powers that be would refer to it as the misinformation explosion- and strive to regain control of all sources of information as they had before. Tough to put the genie back in the bottle.

For those of use that understand numbers- medical advice over out lifetime- if you're my age- has been based on bogus numbers, misleading studies, and seemingly deliberate dissemination of falsehoods as truth.

Let's start with a simple one- butter is bad for you- margarine is much superior in health benefits. The fat in butter will contribute to high cholesterol levels! Which will kill you! Following this lie, for decades I consumed an inferior butter substitute instead of the far healthier for me much better tasting butter. For just this lie I think everyone involved should hang... Turs out that animal fat consumption has close to zero effect on blood cholesterol levels. Your body and genes are the primary determinant of cholesterol levels. Exercise and diet can change levels somewhat, but really not a whole heck of a lot.

Along with that lie- convincing people food fried in seed oils was healthier then foods fried in animal fats. At 68- I can recall when McDonalds and Burger King fries were much better tasting. And- cooked with healthier animal fats like tallow. I have a tallow supplier, a local Mennonite butcher, and the fries I make at home are far superior to that at any burger chain. because tallow. TBH- I would really much rather be able to go to a burger place and buy my fries made in tallow, as they used to be. Keeping a deep fat fryer at home is a messy pain. Also a pain in restaurant- but they need one anyway.

Once upon a time, pre-internet days, all the numbers in these studies that showed these things weren't hidden- they were simply unavailable to the average person. Now, a few clicks, and they're available. TO anyone who cares to look. There are a lot of autists out there combing through everything available and publishing what they know.

I'll be way over the max character count if I keep going... so I'll stop here.

Another lie? You can get all the vitamins and minerals you need from your food- you don't need supplements. Well, no. Even while spreading this lie they knew was a lie- they required all commercial bread produces have added iron to prevent childhood anemia, and Vitamin D to milk to prevent rickets. Because the average person cannot get the optimum level of vitamins and minerals through diet alone. Note- I said optimum, the government says MDR- minimum daily requirement. They are two entirely different things. It's interesting how they determine MDRs- the feed people lower amounts of the vitamin/mineral being tested until the effects of having too little show up, and from that determine the MDR- just enough -on average- to keep you from showing clinical signs of deficiency.

I'm going to take one supplement- because it seems to be the best researched- and talk about it. Vitamin D. MDR- 400 IU, just enough to keep the average American at or near 15 ng/ml, the minimum amount to stave off rickets for the average American. In Minnesota, California? Maine? Florida? The body makes Vitamin D, from sunlight, and unless you're incredibly dense, you can see that for the purpose of "average American" and Vitamin D- there is no average American. And before I was making SSBN deterrent patrols and SSN spec-ops, the government- and the Navy knew that 600 IU daily- 150% of that MDR- was insufficient to maintain submariner's Vitamin D levels at or above that 15 ng/ml level. What did they do with this information? Not a f-----g thing. They endangers the health of every submariner who ever served by hiding it. Pre-internet- not publicizing the studies and doing nothing with the information was tantamount to hiding it. Two other things they've known about Vitamin D levels for decades- higher levels up to 50-60 ng/ml cause better outcomes in all URIs - including TB, and 40% or more of the US population is deficient in Vitamin D- meaning below 15 ng/ml, not below the optimum level of 50. So knowing these things-the official government recommendation is- don't test the population for Vitamin D levels, and TRICARE- the medical plan for military dependents and retirees, will not pay for Vitamin D blood level tests without actual clinical symptoms of low Vitamin D- rickets... Still trust them?

Flu shots vaccinations. Absolutely necessary! Or are they? Turns out there are zero studies that unequivocally show any reduction in annual flu numbers from the shots. Unlike covid shots, fly shots are actually real life vaccinations. You will not get the flu variety that was in the shots- if that's the variety that tries to infect you. Seems they're not really good at guessing the varieties year to year, besides which, there are so many varieties that you will inevitably be exposed to one you're not vaccinated against- and will get the flu. Well, may get the flu. Is your Vitamin D level between 50-60 ng/ml? That lowers your chance tremendously. Are you one of the 40% of Americans with clinically deficient numbers? That heightens your chances. Also, how's your zinc level? Harder to measure. But, if you're taking 50 mg daily over and above what's in your diet, 50 mg being the number I see most recommended, you likely have a sufficient level. Wait- I mentioned Vitamin D before- why mention zinc now? Ah- your body is a biological machine, and it needs enough of, and not too much of, a lot of things, since many of them work together. Vitamin D needs zinc to work it's magic in improving immune response. And your body if has that 50-60 ng/ml because you're supplementing (it won't get to that level from sunlight alone- especially if you're black...) your body will be using that Vitamin D everyday for immune and other functions. It won't try to conserve it- it sees it- it uses it. Know what it uses? Vitamin K. I can just about guarantee you don't get a sufficient amount of that in your diet. So how to eat enough?
Vitamin K is found in the following foods:
1. Green leafy vegetables, such as kale, spinach, turnip greens, collards, Swiss chard, mustard greens, parsley, romaine, and green leaf lettuce.
2. Vegetables such as Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage.
3. Fish, liver, meat, eggs, and cereals (contain smaller amounts)

The only one of those I eat on a daily basis is meat. Which has far less then liver. I take a supplement with aa 3 kinds of K.

Oh, I mentioned you need enough of any particular thing for an optimum level, but not too much. 50-60 ng/ml appears to be the optimum Vitamin D level. Above 100 ng/ml and you will likely start to show signs of Vitamin D intoxication- and not a good intoxication like a night of partying. It can show up (according to the US government) at levels as low as 50-70 ng/ml... and what they don't mention when they say that is- only if you're deficient in Vitamin K. D and K work together- if the body is burning up a Vitamin D molecule- it's likely burning up a Vitamin K molecule.

I'll end today's ranting by saying your doctor, your insurance company, your healthcare plan, and no government agency are responsible for your health. You are. And today, unlike 20 years ago, the knowledge you need to make meaningful decisions is available to you. If you've been educating yourself over just the last few years- you know right now that the government recommended food pyramid is crap- it's not a healthy diet. Not the worst available, but far, far from the best. You can live for a long time on it- compared to people in the 1500s. But people eating pure keto, all else being equal, will probably outlive you. I don't eat pure keto. I like warm fresh bread and an occasional Kaiser roll or bagel. The last toasted with large amounts of good tasting healthy Amish butter slathered on it.

However, Trump favorites Blake Masters and Kari Lake speculate about running. Mittens has TDS so bad he can't breathe. He wouldn't endorse because of political ideology but only to stick it to Trump. He's such a worm I almost pity him.

I think that what happened in Canada is hysterical, the same people who called the truckers nazis because of a couple of photos of obvious plants are defending Hitler now. Go for it. It’s almost too rich. We are supposed to punish Russians for what commies did to nazis, if I have this right, and the Kiev regime is the avenger of historical wrongs.

Imagine if China successfully regime changed Mexico, provided them with weapons and promised them that they could get back what we took from them in the Mexican War. Then talked about nothing but the genocide that we committed a couple of centuries ago.

Let sleeping dogs lie, because the search for revenge for wrongs done in the past is a recipe for endless war. Not to mention the glass houses thing.

"I know the Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom, so cleverly and so bravely, just as we might soon have to..."

Where are you getting your news? From the Ukrainian SBU? There is no breakthrough of any significance. If you have a link, I would be happy to look at it. But sneaking across lines that your armor can't get near due to Russian artillery and drones is not a "breakthrough," it's PR.

Which was worse, anything that you can name that Russia ever did the the United States? I notice that all I get in response to that question is a bunch of stuff that the Soviets did to other countries. Or Ukraine interfering in our 2016 election to try to stick us with Hillary, then blaming the Russians for it, in true propaganda master fashion?

It's amazing to me that despite what Ukraine has done to our political system, "leaking" fake evidence against Trump's campaign manager to the NYT, which the NYT dutifully printed in August of 2016. being behind the impeachment of Trump and the ruination of his presidency, etc, etc.

When the Soviets took over Eastern Europe, it was under control of the Nazis, and the takeover was agreed to at a meeting in Yalta. with both Churchill and ... wait for it... FDR. So if you are listing that as one of Russia's offenses against the US, please open a history book.

Cities should send their homeless druggies to the Federal Circuit Court. Escort them to the 9th Circuit's courtrooms. The druggies can be witnesses to the proceedings, and while they're watching, they can enjoy a little heroin, meth, cocaine and fentinol. They could even bring their tents and stay overnight. They can't be kicked out. So says the 9th Circus Court.
