"Hillary Clinton’s new website keeps speculators guessing about 2016 plans."

Oh, really?

I went to it. Here. Doesn't look ambiguous at all to me. Game on!

But where's Joe Biden's 2016 page? Google is no help.

I'm sorry, but something about that site just struck me as very funny. I am literally trying to suppress a fit of the giggles.

Judging from the photoshopping, I'd say she's going after the Diane Keaton vote.

Nonapod said...

That is an excellent picture of her.

It's the best picture I've seen of her in recent years. Her eyes aren't too wide open, or too narrow either.

EMD said...

Retoucher forgot to clean up her watery, red eyes.

She looks Presidential.

Yes, she looks competent and thoughtful. Must be an old picture.

This is my new lift.

How do you like it?

If you think it can get me elected President once that half-African opportunist is out of the way, send money.

Just don't let Bubba get his hands on it or it'll end up in the orifice of some pole dancer.

2009: Obama got elected to destroy Amrikuh!!!!!!!!!

2012: (America still here) OBAMA WANTS TO GET RE-ELECTED TO TO DESTROY AMERIKUH MOAR!!!!!!!!!

2016: (America STILL here) HILLARY WANTS TO GET ELECTED TO DESTROY AMERIKUH!!!!!!!

When will you morons ever admit that you are just plain wrong and that Obama and Hillary both have very centrist principles and goals? If you can't see that George Bush did more damage to this country's political and economic capital than any President in our history, and that Obama has been spending 4 years digging us out of that mess, I just don't know what will convince you. You are anti-evidence, anti-thought, and anti-reality.

In four more years, you will be just as stupified as you were last November that the Country isn't buying your Chicken Little BS.

I brought a pencil into the booth and voted for her in 2008, and I realize that nobody associated with Obama comes away smelling clean, but after her performance related to Benghazi, I can't vote for her for anything.

She destroyed the one quality she had that made her attractive--nobody messes with what's her's. I can think of no better attitude when it comes to foreign policy.

But now...

Of course, I can't believe that Obama was re-elected. So, what the hell do I know?

We'll know she's absolutely serious when she's seen dating Ashton Kutcher.

The 90s are weird to look back on. The two most powerful political figures (Gingrich and Clinton) were genuinely awful people who hated each other and tried, at every turn, to grind out small victories at the expense of the other. And yet the system worked, probably because a shared attribute of those two horrible people was their narrow-minded egotism; they wanted to win reelection and would do almost anything to take credit for any successes.

Throw in the outsized influence of Hillary and Dick Morris, two other bags of scum, and it makes me even more astonished.

bagoh20 said...

Oh please stop with the games for a while. We have a lost generation at best to save, and quite possibly a long term ruined future to avert. Somebody needs to stop getting elected and get to work.

Isn't it about time we seriously consider a woman for President? Why shouldn't a woman be President and who better than Hillary? I can't blame her for Benghazi or even lying about it, given the nature of politics. Appeasement of the Muslim Brotherhood and denial of the seriousness of global jihad are both Obama's policies, and Clinton had to follow them.

Nonapod said...

Who's "everyone"? Is she polling over Jerry Sandusky and Idi Amin?

50% of Texas voters have a favorable opinion of Clinton to 43% with a negative one. She's universally well liked by Democrats (91/5) and a majority of independents view her positively as well (52/41). She holds narrow leads in hypothetical match ups with Marco Rubio (46/45) and Chris Christie (45/43) and a wider one in a contest against Rick Perry (50/42).

R. Chatt said...

EMD I'm not sure what you are talking about or what "lowest information voter" means, but let's not pretend that women are respected as national figures, except for their spectacular breasts, etc.

Who else is there? Condi Rice? She's not interested and the Republicans certainly won't nominate a woman for President. Will they?

It's a little early in the cycle to talk about 2016 ... and that's not code for menstruation.

Rob said...

Never noticed before that her mouth turns up on the left side of her face and down on the right. Does this help her talk out of both sides of her mouth?

john said...

According to Ender's Ghost, the democrats have had 4 consecutive presidential contests against Bush-43, with the score now tied 2-2. Hillary winning in 2016 would tip it 3-2 in favor of the democrats.

If that happens, I would certainly try to encourage GW Bush not to run again.

garage mahal said...

I like PPP bcuz they mix in questions on sports teams/figures. Jerry Jones absolutely hated in Texas.

Marty said...

Love how the picture cleverly hides the whips and hip boots.

SteveR said...

Yeah the idea that its time for a woman to be POTUS and that means its got to be Hillary is pretty stupid. If that's your only/main reason its not a very smart. If you like her politics, you can do a lot better. Of course you may like her because you think she has the best chance to win and there are numerous recent examples which prove that's not getting us a good president. Of course the bar for 2016 will be pretty low.

john said...

The tight lips suggest a coying expression - is she or isn't she goint to run?

That or bad teeth.

Erika said...

Lol Garage, same poll shows 20% supporting secession since Obama's reelection.

R. Chatt said...

I think a lot of people are hoping that the next four years of Obama goes really fast. I'm not sure why that is true for Democrats as well. Thinking about 2016 helps. That's why to his dismay Obama was getting questions about 2016 four days after his inaugural.

Lydia said...

I think that 46/45 between her and Rubio is very encouraging for Rubio.

And I imagine once Texans learn a bit more about Benghazi that will tip heavily in his favor.

I wouldn't spend more than $2 Billion to get her elected, though. And I'd have to see pics of her duck hunting with her "rifle" (as she proclaimed).

Lydia said...

At a quick glance, it's a nice photo of her, but if you linger, you notice she's not looking you in the eye, but rather at a point in your forehead.

Doesn't work for me.

It is a great picture, the photographer is a wizard. I don't think she has it in her to run--the possibility of a run will increase her fees on the lecture circuit though.

Why do people like her, just because she is a victim? She has done nothing successful ever, unless you count the Rose law firm. I think she is a weak person based on 22 years of observing/enduring her public presence. A strong person would have left a lying cheating spouse as horrible as Bill. The rest of her career was based on her last name and victimhood.

Ned said...

Howard said...

Hillary the Victim. Like she and Bill share your middle-class sensibilities, Truckee Man (if that is your real name). Bill would never had been President without her. She is the rock that he built his success on.

Were you born stupid, or do you work at it?

James Garrett said...

"What difference does it make?"

Truckee Man said...

Howard you have no arguments so you have to go ad hominem.

As far as middle class values, what do you mean? Honesty, fidelity and integrity used to be universally accepted, but not apparently for you and the Clintons. Hillary "the rock" standing behind her man, how bourgeois can you get? And of course it's not my real name. In this climate where dissent is suppressed I'll stay anonymous.

JAL said...

Isn't it about time we seriously consider a woman for President?

Because it's our "turn"?

How adolescent.

As for a female president -- no big whoop.

After idiotic hyperbole and broken arms from patting themselves on the back for "voting black" (!1!!!1!) I sure would like to get back to a federal government which was operating with the Constitution in front of them. I simply do not care about a president's pigment or privates, I care for competence and the rule of law (neither of which is present in our present POTUS).

I also would prefer a president who was not expected to and / or did not feel the need to comment on every last news item.

(And I think it would be fabulous to see Congress meet to *repeal* laws.)

JAL said...

Hillary's health issues are also a problem.

Not to mention her adoration of Saul Alinksky. (Seen her Wellesley senior thesis?)

Compare the physical appearance and energy of Mitt Romney and Hillary. Mitt is slim, fit, energetic, smiling, etc. Hillary's overweight, slow moving, seems unsteady on her feet at times, bloated face, etc.

Hillary and Mitt are the same age, Mitt about 7 months older. Give Hillary 3 more years and she'll look like shit warmed over. OK, she already looks that way. She needs to give it up and enjoy what life she has left, but she has too much ego.

Ctmom4 said...

It's astonishing how much she has aged since 2008. Gave up the botox, I guess.

Achilles said...

She will only be prez if the dems manage to blame the economy on Bush 8 years after he has been out of office. Not saying it is impossible. Enough low information boters bought it this time. We were in the middle of Obamas first recession in 2012 when he got re-elected. Unless they cook the numbers for Q1 2013 of course. 2014-2015 while Obamacare is fully implemented will cause the second and that will be a doozy. And looming over all of this is the inevitable downgrade of our debt. The only reason this hasn't happened yet is Obama keeps sending the SEC after ratings agencies like S&P.

Joe Schmoe said...

So, has anyone contacted Hillary yet through her site? Looks like that's how you get a-hold of her to come to your event or party or whatever. I think I'll see if she can come to our July 4th party this year.

So, is anyone wondering if she had plastic surgery? Her concussion kept her out of the public eye for at least a couple of weeks. Is that enough time to get something done and heal enough so that it's not visible?
